Une excellente journée passée aux côtés de Grégory, guide Crétois qui connaît parfaitement son environnement et qui ne manque pas d’humour et d’astuces pour égayer la journée.
Le repas dans une auberge était très convenable, typique et conséquent.
Les activités proposées sont régionales et bien faites. Nous aurions peut-être plus apprécié encore plus de voir la conception du fromage proposé chez l’habitant.

Vandaag een prachtige excursie naar het Lasithiplateau, de grot van Zeus, een olijfboerderij en een herder die kaas maakte. Onderweg een heerlijke lunch in een authentieke Griekse taverna. Met dank aan onze gids Ruud die prachtig kon vertellen en een uitstekende chauffeur was.

We booked the full day Lassithi Plateau & Zeus Cave 4x4 Land Rover Safari tour.
Geoff, our driver and guide picked us up from our hotel in Agios Nikolaos at 9:15am and dropped us back at 5:30pm
We had a brilliant day with Geoff, he was great fun and very knowledgeable about the area. His love for Crete and it's people was obvious.
He took us up in the hills and mountains and down around the Lassithi Plateau.
We had plenty of stops in beautiful areas. There were also enough stops for toilet's / water etc. Had a tasty Greek lunch too!
We enjoyed the company of everyone on the tour
Good times, highly recommended!

Our guide Geoff was very knowledgeable great company made our day,plenty stops great lunch scenery was amazing,Took us through some lovely villages and told us lots of stories,saw the vultures and the goats were lovely was a great fun filled day

We had the opportunity to spend a superb day, discovering and learning new things about the country and Cretan culture. Our guide, Grégory, was great, from the start to the end of the day, he showed us Crete with professionalism and a lot of humor!! (and he’s a very good driver!!)
We recommend 100%!!

This was the highlight of our holiday, it really made it for us! Our tour guide Darrel made it a very entertaining and informative day. Beautiful views all day and a lovely lunch. We were lucky enough to see the wild vultures, and took the hike up to Zeus’ cave (definitely wear trainers).

Whole experience from pick up to drop off was outstanding-professional approachable Gary our driver was so informative, humorous, attentive, nothing was too much trouble - he defo "went the extra mile" I am a nervous traveller and would normally prefer to do things under our own steam, but after this therapeutic experience with Gary- IF all drivers were like Gary I wouldn't hesitate. I would recommend this excursion and defo with safari club to anyone.

There were 8 of us in total who were able to spend a great day with Kostas. We experienced and saw a completely different Crete in the mountains, far away from mass tourism.
Kostas told us a lot of interesting things about his homeland. Questions were answered and great photos were taken. This varied off-road tour is also highly recommended for children (4 and 6 years old).

I just returned from a safari trip that included visits to Zeus Cave and an olive factory, followed by lunch. This experience truly made my holiday special. Our driver, George from Long Island, was outstanding. His extensive knowledge of Crete, spanning archaeology, mythology, politics, geography, and zoology, provided us with fascinating and insightful information throughout the trip. George's expertise significantly enhanced the overall experience, making it unforgettable.

From the off the tour guide Jason was fantastic. The information and background he gave to everything was absolutely incredible. His knowledge of the local area, the history of the island as well as his enthusiasm about the island’s people made the trip. The content and places visited all had great significance and back stories. The lunch provided was simple yet excellent at same time. Highly recommend this company if you’re visiting Crete.
