Angelica was a great guide. She was a fresh graduate and was knowledgeable about the history and inside anecdotes of the colleges and the university. The tour was engaging and covered a lot of ground, but it didn't get us into any of the colleges. We stood in front of the college gates and heard about them from outside. The only inside spaces we had access to was the original Bodleian Library Divinity School debate hall. The colleges each have their own admissions fees and some have tours of their own. Angelica answered all of our questions and was very helpful for us deciding where to eat and explore after the tour. For the cost, the overview tour was worth it.

Our guide was well informed and well organised. A particular bonus was that as a student at the university she shared her experience of what this involved which brought the tour to life.

Of the 40 colleges we saw Christ Church, Balliol, Trinity, All Souls, Magdalene, Queen’s, Lincoln, Merton, and Oriel. The tour also included many other magnificent buildings and landmarks, but my favorite was Bodlean Library. Grace, the student who led the tour, was an incredible guide: extremely knowledgeable, smart, and a great communicator. Wished the tour was even longer!

We had a wonderful tour with our tour guide Angelica. We were lucky that we were the only ones to book on the day, so we got a "private" tour. Angelica was friendly, informative, and her descriptions of what goes on at Oxford were entertaining. It was a short walk (or it felt short because of how much we enjoyed it), but we saw several historic, beautiful buildings in Central Oxford, and were told about the history and modern usage of them. Just note that it's a brief highlights tour, and doesn't go into a lot of detail about the history and colleges, so if you want that, choose a longer tour. We would definitely recommend doing it.

Well, our guide Savannah was the amazing friendly girl, who told us a lot of interesting information about Oxford, the university, etc.
But only now we understood, that the boy, who sold the tickets near the train station, took a really huge money from us! The price on the site for "Shared • Oxford University College Walking Tour Led By University Alumni" is set as 23£. We paid 125£ for two tickets!!! We are shocked.
I'd like to recommend this tour for others because our guide was really nice. But I can't do this, I don't want anyone else to be deceived....

Our guide was a young student chemistry student from India. Her accent wasn't too strong, and she did not speak too fast, so that we - being German - could understand her well. She had a lot of knowledge about Oxford and clearly enjoyed her job. She was always open to even the strangest questions.

The sights were well-chosen and offered many chances to take great photographs. The tour started with some degree of confusion, as quite a few tours start from the same location, and at first, we could not identify our tour.

The guide was good, had lots of information on the different sites. What we missed is a view inside of the library. But after 2 hours walking we had a much better view of Oxford.
