We had the most remarkable and amazing tour from Lisa Marie today. We would recommend it without hesitation. Lisa’s knowledge is beyond compare and we were left with much to discuss following this amazing tour. If you have the time we cannot recommend this tour highly enough!!!!

Please do yourself a favour and take this tour. The tour guide is excellent - not only is she very knowledgeable about the topic, but very passionate as well, and it makes it one of the best walking tours you can take. You do not need to be Jewish to take this tour, the tour guide does a great job of filling in any gaps/answering questions you may have, but it's so worth it learning about how Jewish history left it's mark on Vienna. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Lisa-Marie's knowledge and passion about this difficult but far too often swept-under-the-carpet topic shines through. Through her, we learnt so much about the history, culture, & the Jewish people of Vienna, and the tragic cycle of repression and dehumanisation.

Lisa Marie was such a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide. You could really feel how passionate she was about the culture and the history of the Jewish people in Austria. What a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Ann Marie leads this tour with fascinating historical insight that I have not experienced in any other Jewish tour. Ann Marie is a historian who has spent a tremendous amount of time learning and understanding the history of the Jewish presence in Vienna. She weaves together historical facts over time to explain how things evolved over hundreds of years with the Jewish community in Vienna. And she points out things that I have never noticed on other tours. We found her commentary to be quite insightful and understanding how things came to pass. The time spent learning about the evolution of Jewish living in Vienna was very educating and enjoyable. We would highly recommend taking this cultural heritage tour and spending a couple hours with Ann Marie!

Lisa Maria is a wonderful, kind and enthusiastic person with an enormous knowledge about the Jewish Population in Vienna over the last few centuries. She definitely found her passion in history and she was able to answer any questions she was asked by our group. She is a real story teller and all of us were so keen on listening that we finished the tour much later than expected. Her tour was by far our highlight of our 5-day-Vienna-Trip. Lisa Maria was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the Jewish history of her city, sharing the complexities of historical and modern politics' roles in the success and tribulations of Jews in Vienna and Austria over the years. She coupled interesting landmarks across this beautiful city with audiovisual material, and responded to all questions with patient and erudite answers.

It’s really hard to articulate the entirety of valuable knowledge which was gained from our tour with Lisa. She is a true historian, an educator. I’ve been in Vienna for 2 weeks and her tour has been the highlight of my trip. An explanation of the Jewish roots in this city and how intertwined the Jewish community was in shaping what Vienna is today.
