This is a unique tour that visits most interesting historical and geological points of Fuerteventura, including hidden spots, that are hard to find without a knowledgeable guide, and with a little bit of an adventurous hike through the Las Penitas canyon.
This hike and excursion in whole are suitable for any level/age, we tend to adapt the route to each individual, but a basic level of fitness is required.

A particularly windy day but equally evocative to visit the caves dug by the wind and the power of the ocean. I don't recommend diving into the water as the power of the waves here is truly crazy, I recommend comfortable shoes for a nice tour

We booked this last minute and so glad we did. Absolutely brilliant trip with Bas. The hike up Las Penitas was stunning - the views from the top were so worth the climb. Bas’s knowledge was amazing and he let us go at our own pace. Don’t be put off if your not big hikers as you can go as slow as you like. We then had lovely sandwiches before heading into the Ajuy Caves which finished off an amazing morning. So, so pleased we did this trip as we wanted to try something different. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Thank you Bas from Claire and Chris 😊

I gave the hike to my partner as a birthday present and booked it three months before our trip. One day before the hike, I received an email saying that we would be picked up from our hotel at 9 a.m. Three hours later, I received another email saying that the trip would not take place. Apparently it would be too hot. The money was refunded. There was no suggestion of a new date. The following days were all fully booked, so we had no chance of doing the trip on another day during our vacation.
We then set off alone the next day and explored the area on our own. Since we didn't know the exact route of the guided tour, we unfortunately didn't see everything. We also wondered why the trip was canceled. It wasn't too hot, after all.
Overall, the organizer didn't make a good impression on us. I'm giving it two points because communication took place via email and the money was refunded without any problems.

Bas is a really great guide. He gave us lot of information and kept us entertained. And he is very easy going in regards to how much time we want to spend in a particular place. I had a great time.

The excursion was truly perfect! Thanks again to Darja who takes care of reservations and information, and a big thank you to the guide who introduced us to a wonderful place that is not very touristy! The hikes were quite easy but sporty, and the landscapes were magnificent.

Brilliant day, thank you. Lovely hike that takes you away from the tourist trail through a canyon that would be difficult to navigate on your own. There’s a little bit of scrambling involved but Bas knows the area well and leads you confidently to the top. Views are well worth the effort and as we were a very small group we were rewarded with loads of wildlife. I especially enjoyed the chipmunks who certainly weren’t shy. Next stop was the slightly more populated Ajuy caves but still worth a visit. Great trip, wouldn’t hesitate to book. (Stephen loved your sandwich, thanks Bas!!)
