Classic 30-Minute Gondola Ride in Venice

This was a tourist trap waste of money. Lots of standing in line to get tickets, even though I had booked months ahead. Then more waiting like a cattle call. We had five people, max per boat and they acted like they needed to split us up based on the line numbers. Poor execution of entry onto boat. Then when got onto boat, the gondolier never said a word and just followed a crowded line down one canal and back. Total rip off. I should have done more research. Cheaper rentals available. Spent 200 for five people but learned later that you can rent an entire boat for 100 and it’s a less crowded seaway that they use.

Absolutly terrible.

We are a couple and couldn‘t sit together.
Its not private and u sit with strangers on a boat. The driver smoked cigarettes.
The trip was 20 minutes and the seat was broken and u needed to hold to not fall off. Never did we waste our money like that. Dont book this s**it.

After reading some reviews, I definitely built in time between retrieving tickets and the actual departure area. All was smooth. Instructions were clear and we had no wait time. It was a great ride through canals, and perfect opportunities for pictures.

Een geweldige ervaring! Je ziet Venetië vanaf het water door de smalle steegjes. Veel fotogenieke momenten onderweg. De kanalen zijn druk door vele gondels maar als je een stick gebruikt fotografeer je prachtige momenten! Plus: vergeet niet de gondelier te fotograferen 👍🏻👍🏻

You get what you pay for and if you go with the attitude that this is a bit of fun and a cheaper way to experience a short trip on a gondola then you’re in for a treat.
We were fortunate in that we had the small sofa type seat at the back of the gondola and shared with just two other people. The gondolier took us on a short circular trip, during which time we were able to soak up some more of the Venice’s culture. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience.

The ride was not even 30 minutes, it was more like 20, since our group was of 7 we split 5 and 2, and the group of 5 were constantly screamed at to not move and to get off quickly. Maybe if you’d prefer get a private one instead of a group tour.

Exceptionally poor..only 20 mins not 30 mins and a shared gondola with 3 others...we were a couple. Please do not book this experiene with this company ..entire mispresentation .

Great experience gave 4 star only because was stressful finding place. So I decided to take pictures to help other people. Address say C8MQ+24 which nobody knows the pictures show you have to go to San Marco Gardenitta then go to the ticket booth in there give them your code for the booking then the gondola ride is to your right see picture

Gondola ride ticket and guide attendants were extremely rude and focused on jamming 5 people in a gondola and didn’t care who they were putting in the ride with you. Gondola driver did not utter one word the entire ride. Regretted not hiring a gondola driver who owned his own gondola. Those gondola drivers provided music and were more passionate about their profession. Do not waste your money on this tour!

The boat itself was fine. Our guide was non responsive to questions and it felt very transactional, especially since we queued up with about 30 other people and we just were herded towards gondola queues. The cost for the quality was outrageous.
