Bike & Wine tour in Dealu Mare wineland

We did the bike and wine tour with 6 friends. The area is beautiful and Oana is very knowledgable, fun and plesant guide. The weather was beautiful as we road through the vinyards and the views were spectacular. Oana explained a lot about the grapes and the wines and answered all our questions. After the bike tour we were welcomed by Daniel the owner of the wine estate. Daniel showed us the estate and explained about the process of producing the wine. After that we had a wine tasting with some realy great wines, while being offered cheese platters and sausages. For sure this was the highlight of our stay in Romania. I can whole heartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bucharest and is interested in wine.

We had an excellent experience on this tour with Oana! She picked us up on time in clean and safe transport to take us to Dealu Mare. The bikes were great quality and the route boasted magnificent views before the main events - wine tasting! We visited two vineyards where we were greeted by friendly hosts, tours of the facilities, plenty of nibbles, and superb selection of wines! Certainly not shy with the pours either! Highly recommended tour!

We had an absolutely amazing day with Oana in Dealu Mare. The ride was gorgeous and exactly the right level of challenge for the two of us. The wines were wonderful. Oana was so incredibly knowledgeable -- from the terrain to the wines, she made the day seamless. One of the best days on any travel adventure for us to date.

We had a wonderful time with Carpat Bike. Everyone was extremely friendly and ready to accommodate any need. The ride was beautiful and the wines to die for. The perfect combination of roads, trails and some great scenery perfectly tied in with some jewels from one of Romania’s best wine makers.

Such a great trip through Delau Mar wine region! Oana was both excellent to interact with when planning our trip and a great trip leader the day we went! The weather wasn't perfect, and the big climb wasn't great, but getting to zip through the vineyards made it all worth it!! Highly recommend. The 2 wineries were EXCELLENT and the owners/operators were very personable. We would do this again. Great day trip from Bucharest!

A great bike and wine tour! Our hosts were knowledgeable, fun and ready to help at every turn. The countryside is beautiful and the bikes were great. If you have bike shorts, I would recommend wearing them as the ride is long enough to warrant a bit of padding. Th wine tour after was also great.

I enjoyed the ride as the scenery is very nice and it's a pleasure to go biking in the nature.
And what can come better after some healthy effort with the bikes, then take a rest at a winery :) Some nice wine and cheese and beautiful views.

The tour was excellently organized, with clear hours for each activity - as we had a generous buffer, we could do them at our own pace.
