Isla Mujeres Cruise with Beach Club, Snorkel, Lunch and Open Bar

We were 7 people with an 11yr old and a 75yr old. Basically, checkin is very chaotic with at least 200+ people all checking in at once at a really beat up pier on a dirty part of the bay. The crew on the boat was fantastic and took care of all of us, especially my youngest and oldest family members. Once at the island you can hang out at the beach for 3 hours, or you rent a golf cart at $90 each and can drive around the whole island with many, many shops and everyone you want, more food places, and bars. We rented the golf carts, highly recommended! Returning was also difficult with so many people and 1 pier. Overall it was good and the only transport option.

What a wonderful day! Yvette & the crew were so fun & attentive. The beach was amazing! Drinks & lunch were lovely, too. Would absolutely recommend & would do again!

The cruise team were amazing. The dance party on our way back was the best part, they were very innovative in getting us to participate in the entertainment.

Just going to start by saying ventus catamaran with Abila and his crew was awesome ! Cant go wrong with open bar, drinks were delicious ! Lunch provided was awesome. Snorkeling towards underwater statues was an incredible experience. Isla mujeres was beautiful.

The snorkeling is great because you have the opportunity to see an infinite number of fish, it is impressive how their different colors surprise you.

We started our trip with full transportation from our resort, our first driver Tony was wonderful. He allowed us to play music and his driving was very safe. Once arriving at the marina, we went through check in which was a pretty smooth process but note, they’ll ask for your signature without showing you the waiver. Our group was Sea Passion 1 and there was another group named Sea Passion 2. The boats are EXTREMELY small and should really have no more than 30 people on it. After being directed to the catamaran we realized they put BOTH groups on 1 boat. 60+ people on the boat made for half the size. We drive out a bit and they begin to get ready for snorkeling. This is where the true danger begins. Due to overcrowding the boat they did not have enough life vest, flippers or snorkeling mask to accommodate everyone who WANTED to snorkel. Wanted is the key Word! They ran out of equipment even though appropriate 20-30 of us stayed on the boat. Due to the number of people snorkeling they were not able to get everyone in the water on time and left multiple people trailing behind with no guide, rope or buoys. This can only be done if your an EXTREMELY STRONG swimmer. My partner is a lifeguard and swim coach and she had to help multiple people to safety at risk of going under herself. When asked why the catamaran crew cannot help, they said the swimmers took the risk and they are not allowed to help you. Keep in mind there is NO SAFEGUARDS ON THE BOAT. They will not try to save you or help you. The actual catamaran was dirty and extremely dangerous, the floor of the boat was slick and a severe slipping hazard. There was no mats, drying of water or swim shoes allowed. You must be barefoot. When my partner helped people on to the boat after the crew refused, she injured her finger while breaking her fall after a slip due to the extremely wet and unsafe conditions. It got even worse from there, NO ONE ON THE BOAT CREW HELPED. At this point we are no longer in the water and need first aid, we are asking for help in Spanish and in English and no one is helping. We begged for them to find a first aid kit and the photographer found it after about 4/5 minutes of my partner bleeding profusely. Someone in our travel group is a med student, she was able to help my partner stop the bleeding and keep it clean. Even then nobody says anything to us. They do not apologize or thank her for helping people onto the boat. It’s frustrating. We get to the first stop for lunch, lunch was very unappetizing but it’s also very Americanized food. It was white rice, fried rice(?) and yellow Spanish rice, mystery meats, pasta with Alfredo and red sauce. On the better side there was Al pastor and chips and coke! We were determined to make the best of our day, we perused the little shops after lunch and headed back to the boat. After getting back on the boat it was suddenly dry and towels were put down after my partners injury and many complaints. We get to Isla Mujeres, we shop and eat a bit more for about 2 hours. The beach is beautiful and the restaurant la Perla Negra was great. Once getting back on the boat the party was in full force, lots of tequila and drinks. If you want a party catamaran this is it! I would never do this again because the safety is NOT there. I would even say, if you like the party aspect, skip the snorkeling.

Our tour guide was Renaldo was amazing we all had a lot of fun. The food was not the best but the boat ride and snorkeling was great.

Great team! Very very clean boat and the food was amazing!!! The host spoke 4 different languages and made everyone feel included. Will be back !
