I come from 30 years experience in hotel & aviation management, so tend to observe service standards with a critical eye. I can only report on the service I received on this particular day.
Everything ran very smoothly perhaps because of Duc the cruise manager & tour guide. Also February is not peak season so the vessel wasn't full booked.
The vessel was quite modern, clean & well maintained.
The luncheon buffet was substantial with great variety of dishes.
Nobody went hungry that's for sure.
Wait staff were both friendly & efficient.
At each shore visit Duc went along to take care of guest needs, but I suspect also to keep us on schedule, which he did.
This is not the best time visibility wise for Northern Vietnam as it is late winter/early spring. With overcast conditions the colours are muted but we still had a wonderful day.
