Firstly, the communication was excellent. They confirmed the booking and then followed up with messages. I was confident of when and where I would be picked up.
The trip itself was great. Like a lot of day trips, you spend a bit of time on a bus and this bus was quite comfortable (as far as buses go). Bring something to cover you if the air conditioning feels to cold after a while.
I didn’t research a lot before I went on the trip so it all came as a journey of discovery.
The pagoda was impressive and the guide made an effort to make sure I knew what was happening (there weren’t many English speakers on the bus).
The bus trip from the pagoda to lunch venue was great - the scenery was jaw dropping. Lunch was also really nice. I was lucky to be seated with a family who understood all the food and customs and showed me how to attack the food.
The boat trip was definitely the highlight. I LOVE boats. Boats + caves is an amazing combination. Be sure to have good sun protection- it’s hot out there. But totally stunning.
Traffic back to Hanoi was heavy but I was so spent with what I’d seen, it was no problem to chill until I got back to the hotel.
Yeah - I’d recommend it to anyone!
