Majestic south rim. First glance. Our ride to the canyon was relaxing and enjoyable. The time on the guided bus tour perfect. Coming back to Williams was more restful, we were entertained and feed healthy snacks. But be careful there are robbers around.. so much fun. Our host was gracious and answered all questions. Highly recommended this tour.

This was well worth the money. We did the first class tour with the bus/lunch combo. Thr whole family had a great time. It was relaxing. This was the highlight of our trip

The train ride was fabulous. Jenny our tour guide was wonderful! The entertainment was great! We had so much fun! The drinks and snacks were also good.

After some personal confusion with my booking, both Viator and the tour operator were SO helpful in arranging this tour for my parents 55th wedding anniversary. Thank you abundantly to Viator and to the tour operator. We had a fabulous time on this day long journey on the train to the Grand Canyon. The tour guides Conyarae and Johnny gave us tons of information and jokes to pass the hours as the beautiful landscape passed by. There was a wonderful fiddle and harmonica player, the “Marshall” and the “bandits” that gave us a great time on the train. Our tour guide for the bus and luncheon portion was wonderful and gave us a good pace to explore. This was a great way to get to the canyon without having to stress over managing a car and parking. The train was very clean, good size bathroom and room for bags. I inquired about borrowing a wheelchair to help my Dad who has mobility issues, and one was provided for us to get him down the length of the tracks to re-board. Thank you to the office assistant who provided this. We have great memories from this tour and highly recommend.

Entertainment was good and is what made the trip worth taking. Keith did a great job narrating and informing. This would have been a 5 star rating if you would have a few golf carts there to assist those of us that have trouble walking the length of the train carrying our large bags full of water and snacks for the day. I was miserable walking over 10 train car lengths to get to mine. Also, the bus tour needs to drop us off at the gift shop level at the end. It was too difficult and long to use ramps to go to the gift shop. I would also appreciate a more honest scientific view of the possible ways of how the canyon was formed. Not all scientists agree with the view presented. Please research other views and present them.

Riding the railway was a great experience. The view was nice. The entertainment and the guide on the train were fun. We had a package which included a buffet lunch and an hour and a half bus tour. The food was convenient and pretty good. The bus tour allowed us a couple of overlook stops which was plenty of time to get good pictures.

We rode in the luxury dome one way to the Grand Canyon. The entertrainment was a little cheesy but was meant to be. I thought the ride would get boring but we enjoyed ourselves and the trip felt like it went quickly.
We were allowed to explore all the cars and go outside on the platform. However, I believe that was dependent on which car you rode in. You could explore the cars that cost less than your ticket but not in reverse. Purchasing the the luxury dome ticket was worth the extra money just to be able to explore the entire train.
You can just go up for the afternoon, but if you choose to stay overnight they do a great job handling the luggage so you don't have to. You can immediately take off exploring when you arrive and your bags will magically appear in your hotel room that evening.
