It was very impressive to learn the ways of capoera. The end was incredibly fun and inclusive. They are one big family ready to take in people who are interested in this sport.

Unique experience. I had no idea that Capoeira had so many beautiful facets. Omri explained everything very well and after some practice I was able to join the rest of his group in singing and dancing for an even more authentic experience. 100% recommendable!

Excellent experience in Rio. A great way to experience Brazilian culture. The group and the instructor are very welcoming and provide the best introduction to capoeira, also in English.

We had a wonderful time joining class. After an hour, we learned basic moves that we could apply to a play game of capoeira. There was also music and singing involved. Thank you for letting us see a part of your culture!

Really fun class for all fitness levels, it was easy to learn and try it out and fun to see the experts at the end and where you can really take the movements. We especially enjoyed the integration of musical instruments to bring the dance alive

The teacher speaks 4 languages and you indeed learn the basics of the dance. As someone who is a regualr at the gym, I was suprised at how difficult it was! I left exhausted and frustrated by my poor abilities, but the instructor is encouraging. If you are low on flexibility or have weak glutes, you won't accomplish much, but those of you who take yoga, do calisthetics and compound exercises may be much better. Love the music circle at the end for practice, but it is quite long at about 30-40 mins.

This is simply a must do if you’re visiting Rio. There is nothing like taking a capoeira class in Brazil. It is so welcoming and uplifting. It is a workout so it’s good to wear comfortable clothes, but the energy is something I will never forget. The instructor is amazing, and takes time to really show you how it’s done. And he took videos of the experience so we didn’t have to. Not to mention, they do so much goodwill in Rio. 10/10!!
