Our driver George was wonderful. It is a long and windy road, but he was a superb driver and great with us and adding such info for us. He was absolutely excellent.
Meteora is wonderful , but do read about it first and don't go if you have the ability to climb steps

100% recommend! Our driver arrived on time at the hotel. The ride was very comfortable. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the visit, and was blown away by the beauty of Meteora. Our driver chose a great restaurant for lunch, and was a perfect guide for our tour.

We choose this private tour because we travelled with 12yr old child,and wanted to go with our own relaxed pace.
It was really worth of it!
We could spend enough time for each monasteries and plenty time to take pictures with incredible scenery.(probably it is impossible when you are in the group tour)
Moreover,George was a professional guide/driver who drove all the way safe and very smoothly- he organized our schedule as we wished to do,then every thing went so perfect and we had a truly memorable day!
I can fully recommend this tour!

This tour was incredible. Photos don’t do it justice. George was the absolute best driver and tour guide. I highly recommend this tour. A word of advice to the women…make sure you wear a skirt below the knee and a shirt with sleeves. We were able to purchase a long scarf at the first monastery to wrap around like a skirt, but just so you’re aware. I highly recommend stopping at a bathroom prior to arriving at the monasteries as the facilities don’t resemble the American toilets and this may be an issue based on who you’re traveling with. Other than that, best way to see Greece in a short amount of time!

The Grand Meteora monastery was a very unique sight that truly made this a special tour. Our guides were very flexible and ensured we had an enjoyable day. I highly recommend this tour.

Meteora is definitely a must-do in Greece, and with iGoHellas, we can’t go wrong.
George was promptly at out place five minutes before the prearranged time. His conversation was fun, and the trip smooth and delightful. We enjoyed the love he has for his job, and for Greece. Meteora of course, was OUT OF THIS WORLD, and we had no problem exploring and photographing. George had the best recommendations for lunch and for photo locations.
My boyfriend and I traveled all the way from Honduras, and I’m pleased to say George and iGoHellas made my last day in Greece a very memorable one.

An absolutely amazing tour! We were a group of 4 traveling from Thessaloniki. Mr John was a great driver and made us feel very comfortable the entire trip. John our tour guide was very friendly and informative. It was a nice paced day with an enjoyable lunch. Meteora is a beautiful place that should not be missed.

Our mixed group which included my 2 teenagers, husband and my 80 year old mother had an amazing day seeing the monasteries of Meteora and learning about their history. Our hosts, both coincidentally named Ioannis, were so patient and accommodating, making sure that my mother had plenty of time to make it to the top of the monasteries and making the tour interesting for our teenagers. It was so nice to have time to see everything and not feel rushed. We ended the day with a traditional and delightful Greek lunch. All in all it was a special day. I would highly recommend this tour especially if you have a group with mixed mobility needs! It was one the best experiences we had during our visit to Thessaloniki!

Absolutely marvellous day tour from Thessaloniki for a truly awesome meteora experience. The rock formations and monasteries are beautiful and breathtaking. I don't think there's many other places on Earth quite like this! Mr Jannis Papas was an excellent guide, I really appreciated how much local flavour and expertise he was able to bring to the tour from his own experiences growing up in the area--he’s very friendly, and definitely not at all pure dry history. On top of that we had the best driver ever also named Yannis who made our trip fantastic with his expertise and professionalism! Thank you for everything guys and we will definitely see you again soon!
