On your three-hour walking tour of Nashville, you will discover how music forms a common thread throughout Nashville’s communities, binding the life and soul of the city and its people.

Your guide will talk to you about how the growth of Nashville’s music publishing sector in the 1800s helped prompt the deluge of popular artists visiting Nashville in the mid-1900s to play the Ryman Auditorium, including Sandra Bernhardt, Louis Armstrong, John Philip Sousa and Nat King Cole.

Learn about the music stars who have made Music City their permanent home, including the band members from the Kings of Leon, Justin Timberlake, The Black Keys, Keith Urban, Michael McDonald, Keb’ Mo’, Sheryl Crow, Paramore, Hot Chelle Rae, and Jack White.

As you walk, there will be numerous opportunities to hear the live music for which the city is known, and your tour will finish at the Johnny Cash Museum (tickets included)!

Rick was great. He was super knowledgeable and fun to tour with. He was funny and knew how to give a great tour. We stopped to try hot chicken on the tour which was a great recommendation on his part. He also had great recommendations for food and activities outside of the tour. He was able to give a great history of both the state and the city of Nashville along with fun anecdotes. Highly recommend this tour to learn about the city and see some fun things along the way.

I have been a big fan of Johnny Cash and finally I got to see his museum. It was worth the trip to Nashville from Bakersfield CA.

The tour guide was really kind and knowledgeable about the buildings and the history associated with them. However, I personally wouldn’t pay for this tour again. It was a bit pricey. I would’ve rather just paid the $25 for the Johnny Cash Museum and walked around the city on my own.

Ed was an amazing guide. I asked us what we want to see and showed it to us. Ed shared a lot of his knowledge about the city, the history of the city, ... Very cool!
