I paid for a shared ride and was put in a gondola with just my family. I was very excited about that.

The gondola ride was amazing. I really enjoyed seeing part of the city from the water.
The gondalier did not say much and didn’t tell us when to turn the app on to listen to the narrative. The narrative in the app stops working when you swap to camera, so it didn’t really work!
We went to find the meeting point the evening before and we could not find it as it had a shutter over the shop front with an ATM sticking through it, so we went back early the next day and it was then obvious. The people running it said they would put a canopy up to stop this happening in future.
The guys running the tour shop were great and the actual gondola ride was great. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another ride, but on our own and for an hour.

It was an okay tour. Definitely just a little overrated compared to how they described it. It was less than 1/2 hour and the driver did not interact at all. It also is cheaper if u buy there. I would do once. We had it better in Belgium

There was a strike when we arrived in Venice. This is always announced before we were told. So there was no chance to get over to the meeting point due to the absence of a boat. We called and they just said that nothing could be done about it and that the money had burned inside. It was not possible to rebook. Unfriendly staff and will never book anything with Tripadvisor again.

Unforgettable ride with someone unforgettable.
The tour through the canals was spectacular and the passage under the famous bridge was also something to remember.
I recommend it and above all enjoy it to the fullest.

Too bad the gondolier didn’t say anything the entire trip. Why tip then?? It was crazy at first, traffic jam right after bridge of sighs. Then quiet and peaceful.

I wouldn't advise anyone to do this ride. I ve done it last July. Firstly I found the group with great difficulty. They were so late in their service, that actually gave as less than the programmed ride time. Of course there was no sunset or anything and the whole ride was a joke. They just take your money. Try somewhere else

Nice gondola, we shared with two other people. The ride and scenery was beautiful, although it did say it supposed to be a sunset ride, it wasn’t. We just went around different calle when if it was the sunset time, we wouldn’t be able to see it.
