Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust on a half-day tour of a Nairobi elephant orphanage that’s home to adorable baby elephants that have been rescued by conservationists. Unlike some tour options that feature a long list of stops, the focus is on the elephant orphanage alone, so you’ll have even more time to watch the baby elephants bottle feed and play with their keepers

We had a difficult time obtaining tickets for the elephant orphanage as attendence is restricted and going on your own required signing up 3 months in advance. However, our guide Meshamck with Garcebott Ecotours saved the day! They had tickets and Meshamck was a wonderful guide. The elephant orphanage was a fantastic experience, and we were grateful to find tickets! The encounter lasts about 1 hour and we were able to learn about the elephants, why they were orphans and the good work to release them to the wild. After the encounter Meshamck worked with us to set an itinerary that took us to various locations that supported single mothers and local artisans, pointing out the highlights of Nairobi along the way. It was a wonderful first day in Nairobi.

Simply amazing! You get to see and pet the baby elephants, and find out all about their backgrounds.
Our driver was very accommodating.
