First of all, Mulalo was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about Maboneng and the various artist represented in the area. I heard about this area from someone at the airport. I'm glad I decided to take the tour. It's a must if you visit Johannesburg! There are also great shops, cafes and restaurants in the area to enjoy as well.

Incredible experience through the streets of Mapodeng. The tour not only introduces you to Johannesburg's vibrant street art, but is also a lesson in recent African history. The guide Malulo was very attentive and presented the works on the buildings and walls in detail, explaining the context in which they were made and the message they intended to convey. Very good, I would definitely do it again.

I spent a wonderful afternoon exploring the Maboneng district with Refiloe! The latter is a very knowledgeable and generous young guide who likes to share his knowledge about street art and the different artists who have contributed to making this neighborhood one of the most interesting places in Joburg for those interested in local culture.
Finally, in the company of Refiloe, you will be safe and can make the most of your visit.

We only had one full day in Jozi at the end of our safari trip. We chose the Maboneng Street Art tour, as we always try to see street art when we travel. Our guide Mulalo was so knowledgeable, explaining the significance of the neighborhood as well as the art. During the tour we went to several neighborhood galleries and even met an artist. This was a great activity. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing street art walking tour with our guide who was very knowledgable on the art around the area and the local artists. The area was buzzing with activity and we were also able to meet some of the local artists along the walk.

Refilwe was a great tour guide—very knowledgeable and a great personality. The art is top notch—really talented artists and definitely a must-do tour.
My complaint: Communication was poor. My tour started an 1 1/2 hours late. Didn’t know where to meet up with the guide. To FUTURE TOURISTS BUYING THIS TOUR, make sure you call and confirm where the guide will meet you.
Otherwise, good tour.
