The tour guide never showed up. We received a call from the company 15 minutes after the tour was suppose to start. Then a rep showed up and walked us to the Colosseum and we waited another 20 minutes. At this point, we were handed off to a tour group already in progress. There was an issue with two customers at the Colosseum gate and we had to wait another 10 minutes before going inside the Colosseum. the tour lasted 20 minutes. We are asking for a full refund!! This is NOT what we signed up for.

This company overbooks their tours!! We took our whole family to the location and they called us as we arrived saying “we cannot honor your tour”. They cancelled and we were left with nothing and everything else was sold out. I’m the last person to write a bad review but this was a disaster. Do yourself and your kids a favor and do not book!

Wow Wow Wow, having been Colosseum previously I wasn’t expecting to learn too many new things. How wrong was I. My family and I did this tour on a Sunday which was perfect with all of the streets around the colosseum closed to vehicles. Our tour guide was fantastic and this tour was definitely the right amount of time especially with young kids.

The guide did not show up! Wasted our whole morning in Rome as well as taxi fare to and from. Will not be using Viator again!

This Tour was more than an hour due to line to get in, and covered more than expected. You have plenty of time to take photos and really learn about the Colosseum. Wonderful guide!

Perfect quick tour on the inside. We came on a cruise and took the train in and didn’t want to spend 3 hours just on a tour. This was perfect to come and see and have time to see other things in Rome and get back to the train station to make the ship

The tour was good but our English speaking tour guide didn’t speak very good English so it was very hard to learn about the colliseum while trying to decipher what she was saying! She was very nice just not ideal circumstances!

From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Communication was a breeze and staff were very helpful and quick in replying to any texts sent. Our guide - George - was absolutely brilliant! Very knowledgeable and took his time with us. He stopped in shaded areas and was very concerned for the large groups well being. He was also very funny and interactive. Kept the entire group engaged. The tour company was Barcelona or something and I would highly recommend this tour. Lots of walking so be prepared for that. Went my my family, included an 11 year old and a 70 year old and all enjoyed.
