I highly recommend this tour. The customer service was outstanding and far exceeded my expectations. When I landed in Nairobi, the airline lost my wife's luggage. The next flight to Nairobi with my bag wasn't for several days. My contact with Pongezi, George Weru contacted the airline and made sure that they had all of the necessary information to get the bag to us. When he determined that there was some risk that the airline wouldn't get the bag to us timely, his first thought was of my wife's comfort. George went to the airport, picked up the bag and drove hours to personally deliver it to us. Additonally, George coordinated with the camps to make sure our accommodations within the camps were in the best possible spots for viewing animals. Our guide, Moses, was outstanding. He was more than happy to answer questions and provide detailed information related to Kenyan history and culture. While in the national parks, he shared his extensive knowledge of animals and nature. On top of all of that, he had what could only be described as a supernatural ability to spot wildlife. We saw a least one cat each day. While no trip to Kenya would be complete without going to Masai Mara, our visit to Meru N/P was magical. On a full day safari, we didn't see any other visitors. The animals are a bit more "wild" in that they aren't comfortable around people. It makes for a unique experience. Overall, everything about this tour far exceeded my expectations.
