Our trip was an all day event. We did have to taxi out to meet the tour bus, and the communication about that could have been better, because we were over stuffed in a van taxi, but once on the very nice tour bus is was fantastic. The guides were amazing and knowledgeable. We bought the "drink" package because it was very hot weather wise. The ruins of Tulum and Coba were cool. The lunch at the cenote was AMAZING!!! We got to swim in the cenote,, which was very refreshing and clean! Cleanest cenote I have been to and we were all blessed by a Mayan shaman.

We booked our trip through Expedia. Let me start off by saying our guides; pastol and George and our driver were wonderful. Very informative, accommodating and the drive was pleasant.
However, we had several issues about the tour along the way.
First off, we were picked up on time 715am sharp at our hotel then taken to a nearby mall in a variety/souvenir shop. A sales persons tried to get us to pay USD30 more for each person for the “unlimited” package for soft drinks including water plus beer. Thank GOd that we didn’t spend that extra money because water did not cost as much as this misleading person said it would. And when we booked the tour on Expedia we were told that we would be getting 2 bottles of water each, the sales person said we would not be getting the water, and that Expedia needed to update their information.

We were finally on our way in an hour. We got to Cobá, the experience was lovely, we had enough time to climb the nohoochi mull qnd walk around. It makes sense to rent the bikes or pay for the ride in as it is a very long walk in.

We then went to lunch qnd cenote glory. Cenote was small but beautiful and refreshing. Lunch was ok, a very small and limited menu with the only meat option because in a small taco. No dessert and no drinks included.

We then went to tulum ruins, beautiful and large, but the tour was rushed because of we got there so late and were unable to walk around on our own as promised.

By this time we were tired and looking forward to getting to playa del Carmen in time for sunset.

This did not happen, we were taken to a building that sells jewelry, clothing and accessories and were told that we all had to come off the bus.

We stayed there for an hour!!!
Then taken to the city of playa del Carmen, we walked around for a while, had a beer and got something To eat.
