Our two teenage sons went parasailing and had a blast. We would definitely recommend using Sunset Watersports. We used them to go snorkeling and jet skiing as well. All trips were first class

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience with Sunset Watersports, they really went above and beyond to meet our expectations. We got the beach pass which is great because you can do all water sport activities on the beach which includes a sail boat, Kayaks, paddle board, and tubes, and also included when not on the water you can relax on the beach with shade because the pass comes with 2 chairs and umbrella for the day. We also took advantage of doing parasailing with Sunset Watersports that was a great experience and the crew was very efficient and knowledgeable when getting everyone ready and relying information. The pictures were also great during the parasailing. Lastly I really want to point out an employee that really stood out to us and really contributed to our amazing experience, that is John. John got us squared away with booking everything and getting all the paperwork filled out and then went on to getting us set up with chairs and umbrella, but what really stood out and meant the most is that he would have conversations with us that made us feel welcomed and would periodically check up on us to see if we need anything or any help with the Watersports equipment, and not just with us he was constantly moving and organizing equipment for customers we really admired his hard work ethic.

I went with Ty and Brody, who were not only professional and focused on safety, but also incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. They shared great tips and stories about the area, adding a personal touch that was much appreciated. The equipment was top-notch, and the safety protocols were clearly explained, giving us confidence as we soared above the stunning Key West waters. The views were phenomenal—definitely a must-do for thrill-seekers and anyone looking to see the island from a new perspective. Thank you, Ty and Brody, for an adventure I'll always remember!

Best day ever!!!
This was our first time Parasailing and Captain Marty and Davey made the experience so much fun. It was a thrilling ride with a dip in the ocean! The photos they took were high quality and reasonably priced!
While we were up in the air, we decided that we need to do this every time we visit and hope that Marty and Davey are here to take us up! Thanks!!

The downtown area was terribly crowded with cruise passengers in port, as well as hundreds of others. Parking was a nightmare, and as there are few other ways to get to Key West, it is ridiculous not to have some planning for the number of visitors who come by car. Parking rates at the several city lots, and all along most streets varies by day and time, and is an absurd system. The most hours you can purchase is 10, yet the system is in force for 12! Some lots charge $5 an hour one day, $13 an hour the next, with a two hour minimum and a 10 1/2 % fee on top. Lines at the most popular tourist sights are long. No benches in most places. A real problem for people who can’t walk or stand for many hours at a time. Have been to Key West in the past, and disappointed to discover that over-tourism has ruined the “vibe”, and the distinctly different pleasures that once were there. Food even at the so-called best restaurants is mediocre. At the standard fare places, really pretty bad.

Was not able to enjoy due to cancellation because of the weather. The weather was rainy and windy. Unable to parasail or use water toys.

An experience to remember!!
John & Shy, thank you for your friendly expertise and getting us settled with all of our watercraft and beach chairs. You both are such a great team together. Shy, thank you for the sailing instruction. We handled the Hobie like a boss after you took the time to teach us the ropes... err, sheets.
Wayne & Cody, thank you for a personalized parasailing experience. We saw the southern-Southern most point of Key West at what seemed was the height of the naval planes passing by. It was thrilling and your instructions and prep were professional and fun. You both are also a great team that synergized together.
We are returning Key West Conchs and the amazing teams at Sunset Watersports on Smathers Beach gave us a proper welcome home. Thank you all for the unforgettable experiences!!!
