I decided not to rent a car on this trip, but I still wanted to see some of these beautiful medieval hill towns. I decided on a private tour so I could go at my own pace, and I am very happy I did. Alex with Unique Tuscany was an excellent driver, very friendly and helpful. I saw both Volterra and San Gimignano and had a good amount of time to wander around and get a taste of each town. Alex also shared some interesting historical facts and background about the towns which I really enjoyed. If you, like me, decide not to drive but don't care for large group tours, I highly recommend a private tour with Unique Tuscany.

Alessandro took us on a private trip to Volterra and San Gimignano with a fabulous lunch/EVO/Balsamic/wine tasting at Podere Marronaia in between. He was most kind, knowledgeable, and informative throughout the trip, and we recommend him highly.?We will also use him for future trips in Tuscany when we are back.
