Neuschwanstein Castle Tour from Munich

Everything was efficient and timing was just right. The tour didn’t feel rushed and we had time to explore the castle and town below it. Patrick was our guide and his story telling was very engaging, he even played music of Wagner as we were driving closer to the castle which added to the enchanting feel. The history of the castle and of Ludwing II was very interesting! The 30 minute tour of the inside of the castle was just perfect and beautiful! The no pictures definitely added to the mystique of it. Reminder to prepare for elevated walking! :)

We did the all day trip with Patrick to the castle (family of 3). Patrick was a great guide and very nice and answered all our questions. Everything was planned out well. She. You get to the village with the castle he leads you to the top of the hill (a bit of a hike) before your fixed entry time. Then you are taken through a 30 minute tour inside by a guide for the inside. Entry for the inside (20 euros) not included. Children up to 18 are free.

Our tour guide Patrick was wonderful! He gave lots of interesting information and did a great job guiding us and keeping people together. He was very chill and friendly. Highly recommend this tour! Everything is taken care of for you, so logistics are made easy.

Such a great tour! Patrick was an awesome tour guide! There was also plenty of free time to eat & go as you please. Just be prepared for the walk up the hill!

Amazing castle, Disney-esque and the trip to the castle is fun! Patrick was a great guide and gave us so much information about the king Ludwig and showed us the great spots to take pictures.

Fantastic day tour. Our tour guide Dan was awesome, very informative and friendly. A beautiful scenic drive. Definitely need good walking shoes if you are going to walk uphill to the castle, otherwise there is a bus and horse and carriage to take you up there. The tour guide inside the castle was ok, could have been more enthusiastic, seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Overall the tour was awesome, we would definitely recommend to others😊

The castle grounds and surrounding countryside are absolutely stunning. We enjoyed our Radius tour and the Radius tour guides, Stevo and Deyse, were awesome. We were disappointed with the tour of the castle itself as the state guide was less than enthusiastic, hard to understand, did not explain the rooms very well, and was rushed.

For anyone who may be in a scooter or wheelchair this is not an easy tour to take. Our tour guides were incredible helping one of the participants literally pushing her up steep hills to be able to partake.

We highly recommend Radius tours!

Bring something for water if it is warm and a few extra euros if you don't want to hike all the way up. Otherwise it was fantastic. The guides help expand on the official tours story.
