Had a disaster at the start of our tour as we were meant to be met by our guide at the hotel and after 30 minutes of waiting and no answer from our guide (Linda) we rang Viator who were very helpful and got hold of the guide who had forgotten we were being met at hotel. We then had a 25 minute walk to the guide, at which point we were going to cancel but thankfully we didn’t and our guide Dario who clearly works for Linda was very apologetic and gave us a great tour with an abundance of food and drink. We saw sights we would never have found ourselves. He was fabulous.

This was our 4th foodie tour with Linda and something we look forward to with each new group of friends we bring to Florence. The tour is wonderfully informative including history of the city, insights to the ancient occupations as well as current day artisans, the lives of the families who have shaped the town and of course, the food and wine that makes this area so special. Linda was able to add new stops that we had not visited before and to focus on interests of our group. Fabulous tour!!!!

Linda took us on the most amazing journey across Florence-candy and chocolate tasting, Prosecco with truffles, a fantastic delicatessen, gelato and biscotti. She was so knowledgeable about the city and it’s food traditions. Our group of 6-4 were 18 year olds-thought it was the best tour we’ve had in Italy to date! Thank you for the tastes and memories!
