The city appeared refined and fascinating, easy to get around both on foot and by public transport. But the guide chosen by chance on the internet, Emmanuel of Bordeaux to discover, made the difference! Among the various proposals we chose a tour walk of the city -and it was a wonderful experience!!! Emanuel proved to be a cultured and knowledgeable man as well as super available. Tour cancelled within an hour of planned start. Accident s can (and did) happen but it’s not a great business plan not to have a backup tour leader.

Like a previous reviewer, our tour was cancelled with only an hour notice because the guide was in an accident. Another reviewer from September 2021 wrote the same excuse given for cancelling their tour. I offered to reschedule. They said they would email a confirmation. Despite repeatedly emailing for a confirmation I received nothing. I have requested a refund and again received no response. Do not recommend booking this unless you do not actually want to do a food tour. We did a good tour in Paris with Original Food tours and found value for dollar was not worth it. Maybe 10€ worth of food for 100€.

Guess you didn’t know, Lucy was in an accident and tour was understandably canceled. Waiting for refund. Other tours with your group have been fine.

It was Labour Day and we were expecting the worst. But this young lady turned up with her jokes, effervescent behaviour- all leading up to a fun 2 hours. I will however give her a feedback - we should have snacked the market. It looked so good. Suggest we do the right seeing first and the food market last

The title of the activity does not match what we experienced. There was no local food tasting at the market, we did go to a restaurant which did not seem happy to have us there to have 1 appetizer dish, we had 1 tasting of a local rose wine, nothing else was offered and it was done it seemed as a last minute surprise to the wine shop personnel.
Our guide was delightful so none of the above is on her but I think that the description of the activity should be more realistic, perhaps tasting local foods at the beautiful market, a more diverse wine tasting of Bordeaux offerings, etc.

I have done food tours in over 30 countries and THIS is a ridiculous rip-off! 85 euros for 3 oysters, 1 canelle, and 2 glasses of wine!!! Went to the Capucin market and got nothing. Walked around for ages for no reason. Didn't get the dessert at the end because the place was closed but no substitution. Not sure who is giving 5 star reviews. Don't waste your time and money
