On this tour, the boat ride through Folly Beach's most pristine marshlands is a must do and an adventure in itself. Along the way, your captain will teach you about our local estuary and the wildlife that inhabit it while you get to see them up close, including bottlenose dolphins. Once at Morris Island you will be able to enjoy a quiet beach, look for the various sea shells and sand dollars that scatter the area, take in the stunning views of the lighthouse and maybe come across a shark's tooth! You will get to explore the island for approximately 1 hour before getting back on the boat.

My family liked walking along the island getting shells. We saw several dolphins. Our tour guide Luke was very informative and funny. He went out of his way to find us dolphins.

I highly recommend the Folly Beach Eco Boat Excursion and Morris Island Drop Off by Castaway Island Excursions. We had a great time with the family! Our guide, Luke, was very knowledgeable and made the trip fun for all of us.

Our boat tour was amazing! Luke is so knowledgeable about the area. We saw dolphins, found sand dollars, and had lovely views in every direction. I don’t see how you could visit Folly Beach without a boat tour with Captain Luke!

We had a fantastic time with Luke on our tour. We were repeat customers and will be back in the future! “It was super fun and very informative” -straight from our teens. This is a great way to get out into the water and learn about a totally different side of the low country. A great mix of ecological information, local history and of course dolphins!

We learned so much ecological history in such a short time. Make sure to ask Luke to show you some of his own rad photographs from his time on the water!
