The Caucasus Mountains provide a stunning backdrop as we travel along the Georgian Military Highway to the hilltop Gergeti Trinity Church. The vineyards of Kakheti are very different yet equally beautiful. We’ll also explore pretty Tbilisi, Stalin’s birthplace Gori, two incredible cave cities and some of the fortresses, cathedrals and churches that have caught UNESCO’s eye.

This trip was the journey of a lifetime, to find our family blood and for this the Agency helped us to fulfill this dream and the promise made to our father, to return to Georgia. Everything was excellent, from our French speaking guide with ideal support, we who did not speak Georgian. Many thanks, we have made the most beautiful dream come true, thanks to you.

Georgia is a beautiful country with great food and wines and lovely ,friendly people. We were a group of 8 and on our tour we visited so many wonderful sights and ate in some fantastic traditional Georgian restaurants. 2 superb drivers .Our guide, though very knowledgable on the history and culture of Georgia, was not always good at communicating with the group.
We packed so much into 9 days it was exhausting.
If the tour was spread over 14 days not 11, we would have had more free time to relax and recover from a hectic schedule. This tour is definately for the fit and active.
