PADI's Discover Scuba Diving program is the first step for millions of people every year to enter the underwater adventure of Scuba Diving. We look back to many years of experience leading beginners to Ameds outstanding underwater world. Taking people the first time underwater requires a lot of care and we do everything to make your first journey as safe and enjoyable as possible.
We focus on small groups! Nobody that does this for the first time wants to be put in a large group together with other people that he or she doesn't know. There is no time limit or rush in your training. Your instructor will not push or force you into something. Its all about the fun and about you feeling safe and secure.
Diving in Amed is especially for beginners and easy and wonderful thing, as you can see so much beauty in just a few meters underwater.

Highly recommended! We had no previous knowledge and it was our diving experience. We were picked up directly from our accommodation at 8 a.m. and then driven back home. The diving instructor spoke good English and was responsive to our needs. After a short theoretical introduction, we went into the water. First in shallow water to practice the basic skills. After that, we had 2 dives and were able to experience the underwater world.

I had a great time with Amed White sand divers! Never tried diving before but i went with Sasa, who made me feel safe and was great at guiding me through the experince! It was incredible. It was a beautiful dive and I really enjoyed having Sasa as my instructor.
I would definitely recommend going here!

It has been an amazing experience. We have seen many fish, beautiful corals, even a turtle. Our instructor Pierre has been watching over both of us at all times and has taught us everything necessary for safe diving. Totally recommended, a beautiful dive.

Excellent diving center in Amed, the briefing was given to us in French by Pierre, he is very approachable about our safety and he is very professional. They take the time to explain everything to us before even leaving, then a second time before going underwater we do a safety briefing reminding us of the signs and for a first time it was really great thanks to Kadek and Pierre at very quickly

Pierre guided us during our first diving experience. He gave us the time and confidence to enter the deeper water with confidence. We had an unforgettable diving experience and even spotted a turtle. We were very pleased that he spoke good and clear English, so we could follow his instructions well.

I had an amazing experience at this dive center! The prices were reasonable, the staff was fantastic, and they went above and beyond to fulfill my request. I really wanted to see turtles, and they made sure my wish came true. We headed to the spot with the highest probability of encountering them. Everything was handled with professionalism and care. I highly recommend this dive center to anyone looking for a memorable underwater adventure.

White Sand Divers were a pleasure to dive with during my time in Amed.
Everything was so easy, pickup/drop off to hotel or restaurant was never a problem, good quality scuba gear, knowledgeable guides with great english(as well as other. Languages), and most importantly the diving was fantastic.
They have a huge range of dives available, all within a short drive, and having our own private guide as a couple meant we could choose our dive spot, and dive how we wanted, at our own pace.
There are many dive shops to choose from in Amed, but this is the only one owned by locals to the town, and will be my first choice next time I return.

Amazing dive at Liberty wreck and Drop off. Nyoman = best dive instructor ever. Team super helpful and friendly. Very good value for money. Reefs in super condition with alot of sea life. Sooo many different types of fish. Would certainly recommend.

My kids (10y and 13y) did the open water cert. Even when the youngest struggled on the 1. Day, the instructor (kadek) really did a great job, so both got qualified together.
The last dive was at the USAT liberty wreck, as all skills were done before.

Best first diving experience at a locally-run dive shop in Amed. Me and my friends were all very new to diving. It was my first time out since certification and my two friends did their open water certification.
The certification instuctor Roda was very attentive, great communication, and made sure my friends were not only able to execute the necessary skills but were comfortable doing so.
I told my instuctor Rauh that I was still new and he made sure to make me feel comfortable in the water, was very good at helping me improve, and pointed out all the cool creatures I wanted to see. We even looked up the species' names in a book after.
Be sure to go to Liberty shipwreck and the dropoff with white sands (especially with Ruah or Roda) it was stunning. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone interested in trying diving in Bali.
