A great way to see el yunque national rainforest! We a had a great time hiking, climbing, jumping, and swimming. The trail is very muddy so wear shoes that have good traction and that you don’t mind getting mud all over. The guide was wonderful at guiding you through the trail! I would recommend a moderate fitness level. We were capable, however there were others in our group that struggled up and down the trail. Overall, we had a fun time and it was one of the best experiences we had in Puerto Rico!

When we searched and booked this excursion, a description stated it was an ‘easy’ 1 mile hime, and ‘may’ encounter mud and water. Description states there were waterfalls (pleural).
The hike was 4.1 mile round trip (per iPhone), and was very grueling for teens and adults in their 40’s. Very hazardous given the 6inches of wet clay and mud causing us to fall and injury ourselves multiple times, as well as very slippery rocks we had to climb to get to ONE waterfall/water slide. Would not recommend unless you hike hazardous conditions often.
Left our Yeti bottle in the van. Asked driver to ship to me AT MY EXPENSE and he stated “I’ll have to see”.
Ridiculous!

This trip was incredible, our guide Catherine/Taína was amazing, went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth and great time. She picked us up on time, was a safe driver and at El Yunque was an informed guide, was amazing with the children in our group, and took great photos for us at the rainforest! Gave recs about what else to do on our trip.

Fabulous tour! Stephanie and Dihana were amazing. They have the best personalities. The tour has some trick spots going to the water slide and they helped every step of the way.

We had the best tour guides, Stephanie and Dihana. They had great energy, so happy to be with us and very caring to everyone in the group. It was a great expert and so much fun. Highly recommend and if you able to request tour guides ask for them. You won’t be disappointed.

Stephanie and Tiana were excellent, I was very nervous to do the waterfall slide and Stephanie helped ease my fear and gave me the best experience and was very mindful of our safety!! Thank you ladies!!

This was amazing!!! Thank you Stephanie for this great experience. My bf and I jumped off cliffs, went down a natural water slide, and learned so much about the beauty of el Yunque. the hike isn’t easy but it’s worth it! Wear the right shoes!! Hiking shoes or sneakers with traction. Also saw someone from my group lose their phone! So leave valuables in the car! Overall amazing experience!

My family and I loved everything about this excursion! Enrique was our tour guide, very punctual and knowledgeable. He had the forethought of starting the tour earlier on the day we were scheduled in order to beat the crowds of the other tour groups and not be rushed. Pretty much had "Hombase" to ourselves and did not really start encountering any crowds till the time that we had gotten to the top of the climb and started coming back from the slide. Also gave us some great recommendations for other places to visit during our stay. The pizza was great by the way!

Pro: Beautiful scenery. Cons: Luckily we were the last group picked up as the a/c wasn’t working in the van. Can’t imagine how uncomfortable the first group must have been. With 2 guides I would have expected one to lead and one to be at the end in case of any issues —not the case. The whole “hike” seemed very rushed.
Glad we saw El Yunque, but overall I was disappointed
