Excellent tour of the Tower of London with early access to view the Crown Jewels. Our guide Nathan was superb; knowledgeable, articulate, amusing and in full control of the group. Would highly recommend this tour - well worth the cost.

When planning our trip to London, I did not want to take any chances with our first day of sightseeing, so I chose Urban Saunters after reading all manner of reviews. I am happy to report that our Tower of London Early Access Opening Ceremony & Royal Westminster tour was fantastic! Finding our guide was a piece of cake thanks to the very clear directions on our tickets. We easily found our incredible guide, Nathan, holding the promised orange sign/flag. My family, which included two teenage boys, four grandparents, my husband and me, were delighted by not only the historic information that our guide provided, but also all of his witty and funny extras. Nathan was a gem! He was well-spoken and engaging with great diction and volume. It was totally worth it to wake up early and be there for the opening ceremony by the Beefeaters and then to see the Crown Jewels because there were so few people they are at that time. By the time we were exiting the Crown Jewels, loads of people were pouring in and filling up the zigzagging lines to enter. You could probably spend a lot more time there, but it was a great introduction to the Tower of London. Next, we enjoyed the river cruise on the Thames, which was a lovely way to get to Westminster Abbey. A crew member on the boat gave some information about sites along the way – – lots of good photo ops with fantastic views! Then, we enjoyed more of Nathan’s eloquence and humor as we walked by Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, and finished up at Buckingham Palace. An added bonus was that Nathan gave each one of us a little headset, so that he could talk to us while we were walking. This was superb because we did not miss a thing, but we had a lovely walk while learning so much. Nathan rocked it! I highly recommend this tour!

Nathan was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and funny. The tour was a great way to see everything at the Tower of London and a quick ride on Thames.

The only bad thing we had to wait about 40 minutes for a Uber boat. Nathan is a great tour guide. ..

We had a wonderful tour with our guide Nathan. He was knowledgeable and shared so much of the city’s history with us. Would definitely recommend this one to anyone visiting London.

Out tour leader Jo was wonderful. She really made an effort to fill in all the interesting details of wherever we were. Loved the local gossip! I would highly recommend this tour which allowed us to see the opening ceremony for the Tower, and then see the additional sights in an expeditious manner.

We had a great time our guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we maximised our time. She knew a lot about the attractions and history but also gave great insight into current events.it

Not really seeing things before anyone else but it was nice overall. Learned a bit more about the area and an Uber river thames trip, interesting.

Getting in line early is truly worth it! Nathan our guide was thorough and he took us over to Buckingham palace as well pointing out may historical spots along the way. Wear good walking shoes and bring water if it will be warm
