We were looking for an authentic experience in Taormina. This exceeded all expectations. Chef and his family spent time educating us on cooking Sicilian style. We enjoyed every bite of food and every moment of this excursion. They are warm, welcoming and the food was exceptional. The restaurant is right on the water so the view was a cherry on top.

We had a great experience in Chef Mimmo's cooking class. We were met in Taormina by Chef Mimmo, went shopping in the market there, and then driven to his family's restaurant in Giordini Naxos. We prepared and ate the most delicious meal along with wine he provided. I highly recommend this cooing class! He also shared the recipes of the food we prepared.
Beautiful setting as well!

Chef Mimmo and Sicilian cooking is everything it says it is. This experience will not disappoint. A quick intro at the Taormina market followed by a private transport to the seaside restaurant where all the cooking magic happens. Learn how to make different shape pastas, pesto, Norma, stuffed swordfish rolls and caponata. The appetizer board, wine, and bread are also delicious. You will leave the experience wishing you could stay longer. Recipes sent after the experience so you can make them again and again. So fun!

Family vacation to Sicily. We all enjoyed making , cooking, and eating the pasta together.Chef Mimmo and Mama were very friendly and helpful in creating the different sauces. Would highly recommend, 10 out of 10!

It was a great experience to cook with Mimmo and his Mom. We had a lot of fun, also with the other participients! Also we‘ve learned how to make different pasta and other dishes. The food was delicious! I would like to do it again!

Our chef Mimo was amazing, we met him and straight away you his enthusiasm was apparent.
The market tour was great and we were able to see the fresh produce we would
Be cooking with.
We then headed off in nice air conditioned vehicles to his family restaurant by the seafront.
The place was lovely and we met other family members.
The pasta making was brilliant such fun and mimo was hilarious he clearly loves his job..
We then had antipasti with home
Made bread and plenty of wine and water.
Back to completing the sauces lots of hands on preparation and cooking.
In total was made 6 different pastas and 4 main courses.
The best bit was eating all of the food.
It was delicious and I didn’t leave a single thing..
The worst bit of the day was when it ended.
A truly fabulous day and probably the best cookery course we have ever done.
We would definitely return and try his
Other cookery courses.

It was an exceptional experience. We happily met Mimmo at Porta Mesina and from there we went together to the market in Taormina, where otherwise I don't think we would have known how to get there. We had the opportunity, thus, to learn more about the ingredients we then used to prepare the food, we saw the difference between the lemons we all know and the Sicilian ones, totally different, bigger, more aromatic. Then we took minibuses to Giardini Naxos, where Ahoy Brasserie Pizzeria, the restaurant of Chef Mimmo and his family, was located. The course itself was very well organized, everything was prepared, and chef Mimmo and his mother took care to teach us how to make pasta dough, how to shape pasta, how to prepare sauces and different types of Sicilian food. It was wonderful that we could prepare all this with our hands and then eat them in the company of the family and the other participants. We had the opportunity to meet other tourists from different parts of the world and the atmosphere was exceptional. We cooked, ate and drank a glass of wine together, on the seashore, in the company of chef Mimmo and his wonderful family. I highly recommend this cooking class. An exceptional holiday activity spent with the family at the restaurant of a wonderful Sicilian family.
