Get to know the history Tromsø as the world's northernmost brewery hub and become
acquainted with the flavours of the North.
This is the perfect tour for everyone are passionate or curious about quality beer. We will visit Tromsø's historical city centre, two pubs and a micro brewery, and sample 10 locally produced beers and Arctic tapas in traditional, cosy settings, which are closely interlinked with the maritime history of Tromsø.
On the way we get a chance to see a selection of the most important sights our city has to offer, such as the world's northernmost cathedrals, traditional wooden houses, and another local microbrewery. We will even encounter the spot with the highest density of attractions in all of Tromsø!
The final stop of our tour will be a traditional local pub, whose atmosphere reflects the maritime heritage of our city. There we are invited to taste the last batch of in total 10 products from Arctic craft breweries, together with a selection of Arctic tapas.

Great tour guide who really added her own special knowledge of the city to the tour! We couldn't figure out the meeting place, but she called us and came to find us! She took us to some great pubs, places we may not have discovered on our own. Highly recommend!

The Tromso Beer Safari is most probably one of the best experiences I had through Tripadvisor and it's certainly something to take with me home as one of the best moments of my Trip to Tromso.
Albina was a great hostess, very positive, friendly, with a smile on her face and knowledgeable too while she went the extra mile in order to make the group feel comfortable through the Safari. I can surely say that she added extra value to this experience which I'll definitely recommend to anyone visiting Tromso for a few days and if you're lucky as I was you're gonna have Albina as your guide.

Great information shared by the guide Astrid. Tour includes a lot of various beer brews. Not enough food/nibbles provided for the quantity of beer. The Arctic tapas of reindeer, seal, whale and salmon were good.

We had a lovely day out with Benedict! He was very knowledgeable and insightful not only about beers but local knowledge, history and politics! We had such a nice time, had plenty of drinks to try and the tapas was nice too!

Lovely experience with many tasting of local beers and unique tapas. Enjoyed very much. Some walking required but not far. Some local history offered during walks.

This tour was absolutely fantastic! The knowledge and history on Tromsø from our guide was everything we were after, without him even knowing he had answered all the little things we had been curious about from our own walk around the town the day before. The beer of course was delicious and the bars were absolutely beautiful! Such a great tour to go on if you want to meet new people, have great chats, fantastic beer and to learn more about Tromsø!! This small beer tour was a great activity while in town! You get to learn a lot about the history of Tromsø and its buildings and beer. Wonderful tastings with a knowledgeable guide. Very relaxed and easy going thing to do! Highly recommend if you have the time!

We had a great first day in Tromso with Bernherd. He was very knowledgeable about beer and answered all our questions about the city. We went to 3 beer venues; however, he did point out others he would recommend and a few rooftop bars. It was a great day and a great way to start seeing the city.
