I've had the pleasure of visiting DreamWave Surf School for the second time now, and once again, they've exceeded my expectations. Throughout the entire week, they take care of everything – from comfortable accommodation to diverse training sessions and a well-balanced schedule. From yoga to surf skating and, of course, surfing itself, every instructor is not only professional but also incredibly friendly. Additionally, they organized an unforgettable volcano trip. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent experience! After having a bad surf lesson with a different surf school I was nervous about booking with Dreamwave however my nerves were not necessary! From the moment I contacted Dreamwave I felt reassured - they take health and safety seriously, the kit is in excellent condition, and they make sure to explain about the waves, riptided and surf etiquette.
In addition the instructors I had were all fantastic - friendly and experienced ! In particular Carolina and Antonio, whose guidance and enthusiasm helped progress my surfing and gave me back some of the confidence I'd lost earlier in the week. I had 4 lessons in total with Dreamwave and I cannot wait to go back for more! Grazie!

Fantastic adventure, left for Christmas 'alone' I found an excellent welcome, they made me feel at home, excellent instructors, volunteers and roommates... the holiday in the surfhouse was a very pleasant discovery.
I think I will always choose this formula to travel...alone 😜

Without a shadow of a doubt, a fantastic experience that I can't wait to repeat. Perfect organization in every detail, from transport to equipment. Instructors truly out of the ordinary, competent and always attentive. More in-depth lessons with very useful (if not essential) technical knowledge. But above all lots and lots of fun, always safe!

I admit that I had a good time because I was lucky enough to have found excellent company, good volunteers and instructors.
However, I got the impression that it is more of a business than a surf school. There are organizational difficulties at the top, you will get along well with the staff, but some decisions come from above. For example, they are unable to have lessons at the best times of the day. Furthermore, if you buy a package and the conditions in the water are not suitable, especially for learning, you will still be put into the water with the risk of getting scared, due to the current being too strong or the beaches not being suitable. The justification the school gave is that "the ocean is not always as still as asphalt", so if the current is too strong and the waves are too high, you still pay to just watch. The ocean I found had a yellow flag. Before writing this review I spoke with other people in the facility and it's not just my impression.
I understand that you can't always predict conditions, but if you predict them you should offer an alternative. Furthermore, if you have already purchased a package, book a lesson and unfortunately you are sick at night, you are also asked for a 25 euro "penalty" for having booked and not showing up and then feel "honoured" for this difference because after all you have already paid the package (if they hadn't said anything they would have made a better impression) and here I started to wonder if I wasn't on credit then since the lesson costs around 45 euros.
I understand that they need to be protected, but asking a customer about money who doesn't ask you anything seemed inelegant to me.
6 people per instructor, the group always changes and the theory is almost always the same.
It can happen that strangers enter at night because the doors always remain open, even if there is no danger, it can be annoying, especially due to the noises, as if it were daytime.
I think this is the first negative review of my life.

💫 It was our first surf experience - and it was fantastic! Teachers are skilled, love surf and are also great communicators (👏🏻 Daniele, Rafa and Luca), equipment suited our needs and surf spots are so cool. Great vibe. Highly recommended, will come back!
