We had an early morning pick-up (0430 AM) for the airport. Our driver was courteous and arrived 5 minutes early. His van was nice and comfortable for our group of 5.

we reserved our pick up time for 4:15AM! my confirmation said the driver would be there at 4:00AM! The driver texted at 4:10 saying he would be 10 minutes late! so he got there at 4:40! he was told to be there at 4:30! either way, he was told the wrong time from our confirmation and he was late!

The transfer went smooth. I booked the night before so I didn't have to find a taxi in the morning to get from our hotel to the airport. I received a conformation early the next morning that the driver would meet us in the lobby of the hotel at our scheduled time (0900). We received a call at 0845 from the hotel to let us know our driver was there and would be ready for us. Driver was professional and friendly. the only reason for the markdown was that the What's Included" section stated "transportation by luxury air condition vehicle." What we had was a taxi that seemed to be on it's last legs with A/C that barley functioned. Would recommend, but not what we were expecting. Could have just got a taxi for less cost.

The driver never showed up. We waited in the hotel lobby for 30 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. We tried reaching out via Viator messages to the operator because they didn't have a number to call. I finally contacted a Viator rep who was also not able to get in touch with the operator. We ended up taking a taxi booked by our hotel and almost missed our flight. I was able to get a refund from Viator but based on our experience, I recommend just allowing your hotel to book you a taxi. No waiting and it ended up being cheaper.

The cab driver was prompt and courteous he got us to the airport in good time. The problem was when we got there we had to take our luggage up an escalator which was not easy to do when we each had two pieces of luggage and a carry-on bag each with no help from him. He said he was not allowed to park where he was for long. So we were on our own to lug all the luggage up the escalator in one go. We could not see any way of returning to make a 2nd trip.

Wonderful conversation with the driver. He taught us the tricks to great tzatziki, more about Athens, and gave us a restaurant recommendation in the US! He loves Greece and his customer service and friendliness were stellar. He was a little early to pick us up, but that's far better than late. Enjoyed time with him on the way to the airport immensely!
