I had a wonderful day out at Glamis castle. Paul is a very well informed guide and the entire experience was like going on a relaxed day trip with a knowledgeable friend. Very relaxed, yet informative and interesting.
I highly recommend it.

Just wow! A splendid castle… everything is still there: the furniture, the paintings, the hangings… the trinkets and even the ghosts… exceptional castle which you cannot miss if you pass in the area… In addition, our guide Joe was amazing, we loved it

I've always been intrigued by the ghost stories surrounding Glamis Castle and this experience did not disappoint! It was a nice balance of a guided tour around the city and being led through the castle. This was a trip highlight for me!

The experience was great as a whole. We loved seeing the countryside and stopping at historical areas, the Broughty Castle, the Glamis Castle, Dundee Law, and some side trips to see a Dovecote building used in the 1600's and a dwelling from the ancient caveman days. Our tour guide Paul was so knowledgeable about the area and answered all our questions, had some great stories and was so polite. We learned a lot about Dundee and the surrounding areas current and dating back to the beginning. Thank you as it made our trip complete.

totally agree with Amber F the previous reviewer. Now having seen all the homes of the Royals this was definitely at the top of the list for my friend and I. Easy to get to by bus. Tourist Information were first class giving us all the information to get there which was a great help also.

This half day tour from Dundee was the perfect way to see the Dundee area and Glamis Castle. It can be booked for either the morning or afternoon. Our driver, Stuart, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Because it's a private tour, we had flexibility. Glamis Castle and grounds are beautiful, especially the gardens. We took the train to Dundee, had lunch at the Palais before meeting up with our driver. Highly recommended!

This was one of our favourite visits. Having seen the interiors, could quite understand why it was a favourite of the late Queen Mother.

A very good guided tour despite finding the guide's voice high and "ear cracking" - would have liked to have spent a little more time just looking at the rooms but can understand why this wasn't allowed - it still being a privately owned home.

Will just have to read up more on it's history.

The grounds are wonderful - a place to stretch your legs and enjoy walking through the pinetum, up to the walled garden and around The Great Chestnut Tree which I found poignant. This wonderful tree was planted some centuries ago, has massive leaves and branches that touch the ground only to form another "tree".

Would return again if we lived closer.

This was a great treat to experience a guided tour of important rooms at Glamis castle where Mary,Queen of Scots slept and the Queen Mother gave birth to Princess Margaret.
