My husband and I don’t drink much wine, but we still had fun at this tasting with Julia and her intern. We sampled 8 wines, including a champagne. We really enjoyed learning about how the geography of the regions impacts the flavors of the wine and therefore the experience while drinking it. The class focuses on the regions of France and the wine they are known for. If you’re looking for a class on types of wine, how to select wine, etc. this is not for you. I would suggest having a little bit of wine understanding before going to this. We still had a great time and enjoyed the surprises (and the snacks) along the way!

Wonderful tasting, our host was really insightful and inspiring while taking us through all the wines. They took us through multiple wines and kept us on our toes with multiple surprises!

This is a fun 2 hours!! Julia does a great job explaining the different regions of France and the wines that come from each region. We tasted 8 wines. This was my 2nd time on this tour. I wanted to bring my college age son so he cajoled get a sampling of wine and to learn a little about wine. It’s perfect if you know nothing about wine or you know a lot!

We really enjoyed this tour de France! Suitable for people who don’t know mucj about wine and to those who already have some basic knowledge. It was my husband’s first wine tasting and he really found tasting informative. I was excited about smaller producers which are not available at home. Our host was so kind and had so much knowledge! I wish we would have had more time to focus deeper into some regions and taste even more varieties!

A thoroughly engaging introduction to French wines, featuring an excellent selection of wines, accompanied by snacks and water. Julia was highly responsive and attentive to each participant. The session offered a wealth of new information and was conducted in a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Julia surprised us with her excellent selection of wines and the dynamics of the tasting. Two hours that passed very quickly between good wines, friends and the tour of France and its wines that Julia offered us. I would repeat the experience without hesitation.

Delightful and educational experience. I never knew why the specific region was listed on the bottle and how to tell the region based on color. Fun to share the experience with a group as a solo traveler
