1. Paradise Valley
Paradise Valley runs north-south, bordered on the north by the town of Livingston, MT and on the south by Gardiner, MT. The valley lies between the Gallatin Range to the west and the Absaroka Range to the east. It is also a major corridor of the Yellowstone River and is home to diverse flora and fauna as well as geological wonders. Our safari makes a stop here in search of wildlife. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop.
2. Mammoth Hot Springs
Mammoth Hot Springs is a collection of thermal features at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is best known for the travertine terraces that form from mineral deposits, but there are many other observable geothermal features in this area. The algae living in the pools creates the distinct brownish, reddish colors. Our safari makes a stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop.
3. Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
At a depth of more than 1000ft (305m), the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River is an impressive sight. Water, wind, earthquakes and hydrothermal features have all worked together to form this area. Two waterfalls are visible from multiple vantage points, Upper Falls and Lower Falls. Our safari makes a stop here. 4. Artist Point
Incorrectly named as the vantage point for Thomas Moran's famous waterfall sketches, the name Artist Point remains to this day. Located on the south rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, this point provides classic views of Lower Falls on the Yellowstone River. Our safari makes a stop here. 5. Lower Yellowstone River Falls
The first photographic depictions of the Lower Falls were made in 1871 during the Hayden Expedition, although Native American tribes have known about the falls for centuries. Cascading roughly 308ft (94m) over volcanic rock, the falls are an impressive sight from several vantage points. Our safari makes a stop here. 6. Hayden Valley
The Hayden Valley is located in central Yellowstone National Park and is home to an abundance of wildlife. 7. Yellowstone Lake
Yellowstone Lake is a fascinating geological wonder. Geologists have discovered underwater geysers, hot springs and fumaroles. The lake itself sits on a bed of constantly shifting geologic activity. The mineral rich deposits in the water support a vibrant ecosystem of plant and animal life. Our safari makes a stop here. 8. Old Faithful

9. Grand Prismatic Spring
Grand Prismatic Spring is located in the Midway Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park. The third largest hot spring in the world is most well known for the rainbow effect that the microbial mats create, producing reds, oranges, yellows and greens around the edges of the spring. The blue center is the result of sterile water at great depth appearing blue to the eye. Our safari makes a stop here. 10. Fountain Paint Pot
Fountain Paint Pot, located in the Lower Geyser Basin, is a mud pot most recognized for the reds, yellows and browns that can be seen in the soil. 11. Grand Loop Road

Yellowstone National Park, North or West Entrance Your exact route and itinerary will be determined by your interests, current wildlife sightings, and current weather and road conditions. My husband, I and our 2 sons (ages 19 and 21) went on this guided tour and we all loved everything about it. Kelsey was our guide and she was the most informative, knowledgeable and friendly guide we have ever had the pleasure of meeting! The van was so comfortable, clean, and fully stocked with snacks, water, tea, coffee, and hot apple cider. Kelsey navigated us through the park in an efficient, non-rushed way. We stopped and had a picnic lunch at a gorgeous spot overlooking Yellowstone Lake. She was happy to take family photos and knew all of the best places to stop. We were able to see bison, elk, swans. It was a fantastic day....one that we will always remember.

Fantastic day and one I would highly recommend. Gary was our guide and he was brilliant - knowledgable, friendly, full of tips and bits of information and history we would never have got on a group or self tour. Saw all the key places and wildlife - even a baby bear up a tree!

Do not miss this opportunity to see the best of Yellowstone from the North entrance in Gardiner! Ask for Mike!! Mike is your man! He was wonderful, smart, informative, and fun! We saw so much beauty and got educated all within the 7 hour trip through magical Yellowstone. Van was clean, comfortable and loaded with water and snacks. We made various stops at all the key destinations including Old Faithful, Yellowstone Lake, Canyon, waterfall and our personal favorite, Black Pool Geysers! We saw elk, cranes, a bison swimming aaaand... a Cinnamon Brown Bear!
Not enough hours in the day to see it all but worth every penny and minute.

Amazing trip with Yellowstone Safari Co. we had a tour that ended up being just my husband I and Zach our tour guide was so nice, energetic and passionate about Yellowstone! Zach’s knowledge, expertise on best spots or when to look for wildlife were amazing. Zach also took pics and video with his camera equipment that made it even more special. My husband and I had a once-in-a-life time day with Best of Yellowstone tour. The road trip up to Old Faithful was exactly what I hoped for. Our expert guide Allen had his trained eye on everything possible we could see and photograph along the way. His knowledge of the ecosystems, wildlife, history, and folklore made us realize how important it is to be in the hands of an outdoor guide with serious trekking chops. Gary was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about each and every Yellowstone experience. He told us history, animal facts, plant features and geological information. The vehicle was clean. He came timely to our hotel near the North gate in Bozeman. The day was filled with energy and lunch was good.
