Great trip. Loved the small group and our guide, Herman, was wonderful. He took us to a more private Cenote. It was beautiful.

It was nice to see the ruins and the Turtles, but we waited for several hours before boarding the bus. Our tour guide on the bus was nice and polite, but offered us no background about Tulum or the Mayan ruins. We had a different guide at the ruins. We I'd appreciate how much effort is put into keeping the flora and sea life reserved.

ADRIAN WAS THE BEST TOUR GUIDE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!! Professional, kind, funny, informative, educational, made us feel comfortable and safe. He answered all of our questions. Purchased Mayan ruins tour and swimming/snorkeling with sea turtles tour and paid for tour prior. Bus picked us up and dropped us off on time. It was easy to communicate with them about pick up and drop off. Bus was clean. They provided sandwich and fruit for breakfast, authentic mexican buffet lunch with drink and food included. We saw shops to buy gifts at. We saw Mayan ruins with great history education, great tour, snorkeled with sea turtles, swam in the cenote. Some people even went tequila tasting after included with the tour, my friend and I did not. 100% recommend this tour!!!

When booking most trips on viator.com the price is for 2 people, and if you travel alone you pay double, which is frustrating, I hope something is done about this.
Apart from that, which the operator has nothing to do with, the trip was lovely. The check in process is a bit tedious, they should recommend people meeting at the gift shop in playa del Carmen, if possible. Herlan was a fantastic guide, appreciated that he gave us an intro on Tulum in the car rather than out in the sun. And all else was great, efficient drop off as well, back by 5pm.

Disappointed with the entire tour. It was our understanding this was a half day tour, however we spent close to 8 hours with much of it wait for busses.
We were picked up at our hotel on time at 0650hrs. Then after a couple more stops, dropped off at a shop in Playa Del Carmen to check in and start the tour from there. The check in was in the back of a big shop (I am guessing it is to get you to buy their tourist items). We had to wait here about 30 minutes before they could even check us in. Then, after check-in almost an hour wait to load our bus. (this is a central departure point, so there are many tours leaving here).
The tour guide spoke very poor English, so we really didn't get anything out of the tour from him. Just sort of walked around the ruins a bit.
At the snorkeling site, they had run out of lockers, so our belongs were but in a tote and left sitting outside near the equipment stand. Luckily nothing was taken. They they take you out as a group and all have to stay together. This can slow things down when you have a slow swimmer. The water was not clear at all and we barely saw two turtles.
Then they load you back up on the bus and back to your hotels. Overall unimpressed and not worth the money. A lot of standing around and waiting.
Years ago I did a snorkeling tour on Isla Mujeres that was awesome. I will go back there next time!

Kind of wish I’d listened to the other people who said it wasn’t worth it. Tulum was cool, enjoyed seeing the ruins. There were a lot of people though. On the swimming part we definitely saw turtles but once again there were a lot of people all trying to see the same turtles. We weren’t over a reef so it’s not like there’s a lot of other cool stuff to look at. A few fish here and there and we did see a ray. The guides who were in charge of the snorkeling part didn’t do a great job of properly fitting our snorkel gear and life vests, which kind of made the snorkeling part miserable and my husband and I generally love snorkeling.
Like other people stated it is a lot of waiting time and a lot of being passed around throughout the day. Our main tour guide was great so we appreciated his hard work but like I said we kind of got passed around between multiple different guides and drivers.
Overall we didn’t hate it and if you just have to swim with the turtles it might be great for you. We just didn’t think it was worth the money and would not recommend it to others.

I didn't get any information regarding confirmation or cancellation. I only got a mail less than 10h before the tour with departure time and place. I didn’t go on this tour so I can’t say anything about the activities itself.
I wouldn’t recommend booking this tour! Better spend your money on a reliable operator.
