My wife and I had a wonderful time. The host was so unbelievably kind and talking to her was wonderful. The food itself was some of the best kenyan food I had in my two weeks here. Thanks for the great time and can't wait to cook some of those recipes at home!

Nimoh was honestly the highlight of my trip to Kenya. She was super punctual and had such a warm, welcoming spirit, and she went to great lengths to make sure we were safe while shopping, while giving us stellar conversation about life in Kenya. The meal was divine!! I ate so much ugali, that I looked pregnant. The best meal I had during my stay. Her generosity even reached outside our cooking class because she even recommended local markets to us where we got souvenirs at much better rates than the tourist markets.
10/10 experience. If you're on the fence about it, definitely do it.

It was an all around amazing experience that everyone should do in Nairobi. We rode a local bus, went to the local food market ( which was massive) and cooked an amazing meal with our host. We have done a lot of cooking classes around the world and this is at the top of our list. Thanks again!

Amazing day with Nimoh! She gives very thorough instructions for the meeting places, and on top of the experience she shared with me some nice tips for cooking and even for visiting Nairobi. She mades me feel very welcome and safe. The food was delicious, cooking was fun, and the market tour and matatu rides were such a lively experience. Highly recommended!!

This was a fascinating day buying good at an outdoor market, taking a bus and experiencing an authentic Kenyan meal. Also got to talk with our guide while she prepared dinner and learn about the culture. Highly recommend.

Its was such an amazing experience.. Wairimu is a great guide and host. She is down to earth. We were in great company and her cooking is delicious. From the beginning of the tour til the very end we felt at ease. She gave us alot of cooking tips and we felt like locals too.
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!

It was great to experience both the local daily market and to cook traditional Kenyan foods. Nimoh was great, so kind, warm & welcoming. She makes you feel comfortable in her home, like you are part of her family. Since returning to the states we have made the meal for family and everyone has loved it!

We had such a great time doing this cooking class with Wairimu - she was so welcoming, knowledgeable about the local area and an incredible cook of course! We made the veggie dish and it was one of the best foods we tried in our trip. The matatu ride and visit to the local marker really did feel special and it's something we wouldn't have done ourselves in Niarobi. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area :)

The experience was beautiful and very informative right from the start. We learned a lot, not only about the Kenyan cuisine, but also about local everyday life. Nimoh was amazing, very helpful and entertaining! We are vegans which wasn't an issue at all - almost every option was offered in a veganized version as well. Although we booked last-minute on the evening before the event, everything went smoothly. We would definitely recommend this cooking class.
Oh and caution! You will be distracted from cooking by two extremely cute cats that will compete for your attention! 😻😻

Six stars! Stop reading, and BOOK THIS ACTIVITY! The intelligent conversation, the historical and cultural information, the easy to follow (& repeat at home!) cooking lesson, local market excursion and the matatu rides, this activity provides a great foundation for the rest of your visit. I recommend this activity for early in your Nairobi visit- it will leave you on a good footing to fully enjoy the rest of your visit.
