My girlfriend and I did a 3-day Ha Giang tour with Zaj and Quyet, and it was one of the most unforgettable and fantastic experiences of our lives. I would honestly say it was more incredible and memorable than even our trip to and through the Grand Canyon.
Firstly, Zaj was an absolutely incredible guide that I strongly, strongly recommend you request specifically. He is a college-educated man from Meo Vac, one of the towns in Ha Giang, and thus brought a clearly deep interest in and knowledge of the history of Ha Giang. He especially is passionate about the history of his Hmong people, many of whom have lived in the loop for generations.
His English is also far better than that of most guides (who you meet as you run into others touring the loop). But much more than that, his life story and personality is remarkable, as well his openness to sharing. Truly- ask him about his life. It’s incredible- and his passion for life, and his desire to better his and his family’s lot is infectious. I guarantee you’ll learn a tremendous amount about the many peoples of Ha Giang from him.
Quyet is also an extremely safe driver. I have previously held a commercial driver’s license in the US, and he drives expertly- from reversing along narrow one way roads to allow cars to pass to navigating extremely rocky roads and warning cars of our presence around blind turns, Quyet was clearly expert. I highly recommend you request him specifically if you prioritize safety.
All in all, I cannot recommend this tour enough. It will be one of the most memorable experiences in your life, guaranteed.

The jeep tour was the best experience I’ve had in Vietnam. Throughout the three days, Zaj (our tour guide) and Quyet (our driver) were great guides and amazing company.
We were so lucky to have Zaj as he shared his experiences growing up in the area and was very knowledgeable on the history of the sites as well. He is also a great travel buddy, which is important for a long road trip.
Quyet was an excellent and safer driver. The roads can get bumpy and winding at times but we knew we were in good hands.
I am very thankful I met Zaj and Quyet and for a once in a life time tour they gave us.

Woweeeeee!! Just had the best tour of the Ha Giang Loop with our tour guide Zaj. We had the modern jeep and we were able to take the roof off and stand to look at the view while we drove...meaning we got as good as view as those on bikes if not better! (Make sure to ask for the roof off and to sit in the back not in the middle seat if possible). Zaj shared so much information about the local culture and history. We danced, laughed, visited the kings palace, hiked, saw waterfalls and swam in them too! Amazing few days. Son our driver was so lovely, he was very safe and it was impressive how well he knew the width of the jeep! I want to do it again already.

I recently took this tour with a small group and it was an incredible experience! Our tour guide, Frank, and our driver, Son, were both fantastic.
Frank was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made sure to keep the tour fun and engaging for everyone. He provided us with interesting insights about the local culture and history, and was always ready to answer our questions.
Son, our driver, was excellent as well. He navigated the winding roads of Ha Giang with skill and ensured our safety throughout the trip.
The tour itself was well-organized, with beautiful scenic stops and plenty of opportunities to explore and take photos. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Ha Giang in a small group setting.

Just do it. You won’t regret it. Use a jeep, drop the top and take in the majesty of the mountains.
Add a driver, Dui, who took every bend with care to ensure a relaxed trip.
Then add your own personal guide (we had the pleasure of Zaj) who had local knowledge and a lovely patient manner.
Put it all together you will have a great experience.

I have loved the jeep tour of Ha Giang loop. I loved the whole experience. Enhanced by the brilliant tour guide Zaj and our driver DUy. Nothing was too much trouble and we learned a lot about the culture and traditions of the region which was a bonus 💚

The most amazing tour ever! So comfortable I’m the jeep but still see all of the views.
The staff are amazing too. Hard working and nothing is too much.
We had Zaj as a tour guide. He is a local to this land and his knowledge is amazing. He is also very passionate about bringing awareness to issues and the history of the local people. He is wonderful and kind - his kindness shines through. Duy was our driver, he was fantastic driving. He got us safely from A to B without a hitch! He knows the jeeps well and can tell you anything about them too!
Lastly, Khan the boss is engaging and he treats his staff well.
All in all a lovely company, but really recommend Zaj as a tour guide! And Duy as a driver - nothing was too much. We had a great time ❤️
We learnt so much, felt comfortable the whole time and met some wonderful people from the sub ethic groups here. Really off the beaten track! Zaj also guided us up a mountain - somewhere a lot of tourists don’t go!

Really can't recommend this tour enough for doing the loop. The jeeps are really comfortable and the driver was great (we had Dui, he was so nice).
We had Zaj as a tour guide and he did amazingly, his local knowledge of the area, the people and the cultures really added another dimension to the trip and he's just such a lovely guy!
