We did a 2 hour horseback ride. They give you an option either the mountain side or beach ride. We chose the beach ride, it was a very hot day so the beach breeze was great. We rode to the beach then along the beach, we even rode a bit in the water. Then headed back to the ranch where they prepared breakfast for us. Hand made flour tortillas with eggs from the farm, fresh beans and meat. They also gave us toast and fresh fruit. All super delicious! The cook was super friendly and really attentive. It was my fiancés birthday and they even surprised him with a birthday cake! Amazing service!
Once breakfast was done we headed to the beach. The ranch provided us a sun canopy, cooler, chairs, kayaks, life jackets and paddle boards to use for the day. We followed them and they delivered it all to the beach for us, set up everything and after we settled on a pickup time they left. We chilled, drank some beers and 3 hrs later they returned to pick everything up. It was a beach beach day!

José and Joel were excellent guides. Both natives of La Paz, they were a wealth of information about the area. We rode along the trail to the beach, & stopped a few times to take pictures. After returning to the ranch, we had a tour including feeding the chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys. Holding the week-old baby goat, and meeting Napoleon the Pony, and Philemon the Donkey. The sunset dinner we had afterwards was incredible - best food we had in La Paz which is saying something since we ate a LOT of good food! They even baked a special mini Oreo cheesecake for us for our anniversary. After the meal, we relaxed by the fire pit and watched the stars come out. It was an anniversary to remember.

I just returned from a wonderful ride with my adult daughter. We decided to ride the hills behind the ranch instead of the beach because of the beautiful landscape and desert vegetation. We loved it!!! I'm an experienced rider. My daughter is not, but the horses were perfect for both of us. Following the ride we were treated to the best breakfast I've had since being in La Paz and then told we could explore the grounds. I was given a bag of cut up carrots to feed to the 20+ horses and ponies the ranch cares for and our guide took us around to meet all of the animals. Horses, donkeys, goats, chickens and more.
It was without a doubt one of the best "commercial " horseback riding experiences I've ever had.

This is a real class act. I can't say enough GREAT things about it. I've done several public rides, but never had such a strong and well trained horse. Rode through the dunes and the galloped down the beaches. Spectacular views throughout. The Rancheros are super friendly, and make sure you get the ride YOU want. From slow walks though the dunes and desert to fast runs on the beach. This is followed up with a huge excellent breakfast. The ranch is impeccable and the horses are beautiful, strong and very well cared for.

What a wonderful day at Rancho San Lorenzo! The horseback riding was so much fun. Horses were well mannered and fun to ride. Our guide was super nice. The scenery at the beach was breathtaking. Then we get back and the homemade breakfast was to die for. We absolutely loved our morning excursion!

We spent a couple weeks in La Paz in July. We went to the ranch and had a blast. Kai hosted us for brunch and we had an amazing time. It’s kinda pricey but definitely worth it. They had baby goats and sheep that the kids could pet and feed. Definitely a memorable experience. The food was crazy good and the service was top notch.

Amazing experience! Our tour guides were very friendly and polite! The food after the ride was probably some of the best food I’ve had while in La Paz. 10/10 would recommend!

The ranch is very nice. The guide was super cool and funny. The horses happy and healthy looking. The food was really good. Tecolote is super beautiful. I would recommend this place.

This was such a fun ride. It was my friend and I. We each had our own guide that we’re so nice. Road near the beach and sand dunes. They even seranaded us as we’re riding back to the ranch. The dinner was excellent! I’d highly recommend anyone to go on this trip.

The folks at Rancho San Lorenzo went above and beyond to create a smooth, fun and satisfying experience for me. Riding a horse through the desert to the beach was great. The animals looked healthy and well cared for and my guide was extremely accommodating and offered to take photos for me. Breakfast was amazing. I was a little nervous because I have some ridiculous dietary restrictions, and the kitchen was happy to accommodate with a delicious feast to suite my needs. I spent the afternoon at the beach and enjoying the hammocks in their casita. They even arranged transportation for me and ensured that it all ran smoothly. Thank you Rancho San Lorenzo!
