Daily tours commence at 11 am and 2 pm. Our Classic Oxford Walking Tour takes visitors on a relaxing 90 - 120 minute meander through 1000 years of architectural and social history. Not only do we see some of the most iconic civic and university buildings in Oxford and discuss their origins, the architects and purpose of their construction while providing a rich vein of social history of the town and university. Among the sights you will see are Christ Church, the 11th-century University Church of St Mary the Virgin where the University began, the world-famous Radcliffe Camera, Oxford’s Bridge of Sighs, the Bodleian Library, the oldest academic library in the English speaking world, and much more. Where possible we will escort our clients inside university and college buildings. (Customised private tours, can be arranged).

This was a perfect overview of Oxford given we could only stay for a short visit. Andrew was an incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining guide and we were all thrilled with the tour.

An absolutely brilliant walk and talk - with an amazing knowledgeable guide.
The walk took in so many places - full of history and humour.
A really great experience - educational, historical, political with lots of facts and laughs.
So much to admire - colleges , architecture, statues , paintings , gardens , atmosphere, ambience etc.

We had one day on Oxford and took the 2pm tour with Nick. It was just us and the tour was perfect - informative, well paced and thorough. We agreed we would not have gotten the insight into the University or Oxford had we missed this tour. Thanks Nick for a memorable afternoon!

We had an excellent small group tour with Nick who was so knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating to our many questions about Oxford and its very interesting history. We enjoyed our walk with him through the town as he showed us so many of the Colleges and their related buildings. I highly recommend Nick as great informative guide.
