Along the way, Visit a small temple founded in 670 with an interesting legend about a famous monk from Silla kingdom.
Don't risk yourself getting lost as the mountain has a lot of trails and very easy to get lost. You might end up totally different area than you expected!
I've been to the mountains a lot of times as hiking club leader (I've been the club leader over 3 years in Korea), and I believe this must be the most interesting trail!
There is a nice BBQ place in the town. If you want I will help you order some food!

Hiking Achasan with Honey Trail is so much fun. It's a pretty easy hike with amazing views. The best part though is hiking with Honey Trail who is so knowledgeable about the mountain and about the area. While on this hike you will go to a Buddhist temple and learn about the legend of rice growing from a rock. This is truly a beautiful and unique experience! I cannot recommending Honey Trail highly enough! Whenever I am in Seoul I seek out Honey Trail and schedule a hike.

I had such an Amazing Hike. Lee is super nice, the group waited for me when i was tired. The hike is easy, and the view is amazing. Really worthy.

It was an amazing experience with Honey Trails. As a first time hiker me and my mom easily made our way up Achasan. Honey Trail offered tons of knowledge on hiking and the history of Korea's mountains. I'd definitely choose Honey Trail for any mountain hike in Korea.✌️😊

Enjoyed amazing view of Seoul City from the Bugaksan peak! I would recommend to add this in your to do list if you are visiting Seoul. You can walk along the Seoul Wall & reach the peak in 30 minutes. You can view the Blue house (president's house) from the peak. We came down from the peak and entered Hanok village. You will find some unique korean homes & reflection of old korean culture there.
We finished our hike with korean meal "Budae Jjigae (Army Stew)" in Hanok Village.
Lee is local korean & can speak fluent english.
