Very good walking tour of the historic center of Palermo with guide Karolina. Visited many key sites and got a good introduction to the history and culture.

I chose this tour because I really wanted to visit an olive oil producer during my first trip to Sicily with my husband. I don’t really have that much experience booking tours and wasn’t sure what to expect, but we were very lucky to have gotten Domenico as our driver and guide.
First, Domenico took us to Selinunte to visit the ruins by the sea and explained the historical significance. He anticipated that there would be a long line on a hot day and bought our tickets in advance.
My favorite part of the trip was visiting Frantoio Li Pietri, where Giuseppe and his wife Rosamaria made us a beautiful lunch and told us how they produce olive oil. They were warm, gracious hosts and the experience exceeded our expectations. We are so glad that Domenico chose their frantoio to make our experience special.
This tour was not your cookie-cutter tourist experience where there is no love in the experience. Everything had a special touch and felt a bit off the beaten path.

Great tour of Sicilian countryside with excellent and very knowledgeable local tour guide, Mimmo. Enjoyed escaping the hectic atmosphere of Palermo and seeing the olive farming, the "Sicily Pompei" ruins, and the winery. Highly recommend and best way to learn and view the people and culture of Sicily.
