1. The Temple of Artemis
When your cruise ship docks your professional tour guide will be awaiting you with a board where your name is written at the arrival gate of the Port. Then you will join your guide to get to the van. After 30 minutes of driving, you will arrive at Selcuk town where the Ephesus ruins stand. First, you will stop at the Temple of Artemis. Which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and although there is one single column left today, the magnificent temple had been built for the goddess of fertility and hunters, Artemis, known as Diana after city passed under the rule of Romans.
2. Ancient City of Ephesus
Then drive to Ephesus and see the extensive ruins which include Varius Bath Complex, The Odeon, State Agora, The Temples of Dea Roma, Prytaneion, Domitian Square, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, The Fountain of Trajan, The Baths of Scholastica, Temple of Hadrian, Celsius Library, The Gymnasium, Great Theatre and many more monuments that stand in the special atmosphere of Ephesus. Once it was a commerce and trade center of the ancient world and later on became a sacred religious place of the early Christianity. Today, it is a famous and unique tourism center proving all its perfects to the visitors as one of the biggest open air museum in the world.
3. Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
Next stop is to visit The House of Virgin Mary, the place where it is believed that she had spent last years of her life. It is considered that St. John brought Virgin Mary to Ephesus after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and that a small house was built for her on Bulbul Mountain. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited The House of Virgin Mary and declared one of the pilgrimage center.
4. Kusadasi
After you will be transferred back to the port.

Excellent service! Guide in Spanish, good car, very complete private tour and at a good price. We were able to see Ephesus and its surroundings from Izmir. Aykut, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the topics and explained everything very well.

My family and I just returned from a trip of Turkey and by far it was my favourite. I'm so glad that we selected Best of Turkey Tour. Gizem was very helpful in getting me organised for my trip to Turkey. She made sure that I had smooth trip and she arranged everything so nicely, English-speaking guides, the best flights, best resturants and great hotels . I booked a tour for my group of 9 to see the Best of Ephesus. Our guide Necdet really catered to our needs and made our tour memorable and fun. He was able to provide us great information and insight into what we were seeing or going to see. Necdet was knowledgeable and passionate about Ephesus and the historical sites. Our guide, Fortune, was waiting for us as we exited the cruise port! The highlight of the trip was the Ancient city of Ephesus! We enjoyed the history & the stories he told us. Lunch was really good & we didn’t mind the surprise tour of the Turkish rug making process. We actually found that to be fascinating. We were, however, a little uncomfortable & bothered by the hard sell to purchase a rug.

Pickup on time, our tour guide is knowledgeable and speaks mandarin, his stories about this ancient city made us love Ephesus. During the tour, my father fell and he was patient and caring. This private tour was for seniors and we greatly appreciated our tour guide Ismail for accommodating our needs.

We enjoyed visiting Ephesus and Sirince. It was a fun, private tour. And because it was a private tour, we had flexibility with the schedule and were able to add Basilica of St John as a stop. Necdet was a great tour guide — knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. My friend also left her phone in the van at the end of the tour and the driver graciously came back to drop it off to her.

We had a wonderful short trip to Ephesus from Kusadasi Cruise port. Arranged with Gizem, pick up was punctual, journey was smooth ! Guide was very detailed in explaining each and every spot. Price is affordable!
