Edu was our guide for the tour of the Alambra and surrounding gardens. From start to finish the morning was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable about the history and the grounds as well as all of the horticulture in the gardens.
He took time to point out important aspects of history, architecture, and art that we would have otherwise never noticed just walking through, or with a large group.
If you are traveling in the summer, we would recommend going in the morning to avoid the heat of the day and the increase in crowds as noon approaches. Plenty of opportunities to take great photos when there are a few people around.

The private tour is worth it. The rich history of the place was beautifully animated by our tour guide Jeni's great storytelling. Every new room we entered was somehow more detailed and rich than the last. We wouldn't have known how to interpret the meaning of the architecture or design without Jeni.
A delightful bonus: the 30+ cats that live among the ruins of Alhambra!

recommend. Jenni even went above and beyond when my daughter wanted a special sticker of Moflete, one of the Alhambra cats. She arranged to pick one up and got it to me the next day. Such a delightful surprise!

We spent the most wonderful day with Marta at the Alhambra. She shared so many fascinating stories and so much interesting information. But above all else, she was so friendly and personable. It felt like we spent the day with a friend!

We recently had a private tour of Alhambra in Granada with our guide, Edu. Overall, it was a very good experience. Edu is incredibly knowledgeable and his storytelling really brought the history and beauty of Alhambra to life. My family and I learned a great deal and enjoyed the tour a lot.
However, there was one aspect of the tour that was disappointing. During his explanation, Edu referred to the Sultan at the time as a “chihuahua dog.” As a Muslim, I found this comment to be disrespectful and insulting. Although he apologized, a professional tour guide should remain unbiased and show respect for the diverse backgrounds of their clients.
Despite this, the tour was excellent and Edu’s expertise is undeniable. I would recommend this tour to others but hope that in the future, Edu considers the importance of respectful language when discussing historical figures.

You can’t go wrong with this tour. Our private guide Jenni was so knowledgeable on the history and architecture; tailored her stories to our interests; kindly enabled us to go at our own pace; and had a light, humorous touch. The communication from the rest of the Yannat team in the lead-up was fantastic also. We looked at so many tour options (overwhelming) and are so happy we booked this one. Thank you.

None was our guide, who was lovely, spoke excellent English, and answered all our questions. He was very informative and knew not only about the history of the Alhambra but also the characters around the history, both Muslim and Christian.
We'd definitely take another tour with Nono, who was really easy company, which made it a very relaxed tour. We did the 3 hour tour starting at 9am, which Nono sensibly started in the gardens, which were incredible and great to walk around in the cool of the morning sun.
