This is the perfect tour for those who wish to explore the region in its authenticity and completely away from the crowds. We start from Levanto, only a few minutes by train from the Cinque Terre. During the tour, we explore the coast northwest of Levanto. The nature is wild, the views are amazing, and the history dates back to the beginning of the Medieval period. In Framura, we will visit a defensive and panoramic tower dating back 1500 years. Here, we will also make a coffee stop in a typical hamlet. Then, we will go down to sea level, where we will take the 'Mare e Monti' cycle path (an old railway route). The route offers breathtaking views of the sea on this beautiful stretch of coast. After passing through the village of Bonassola, we will reach a panoramic point in Bonassola Bay, the Madonnina della Punta, a chapel dating back 400 years. Here, we will make a stop with a tasting of focaccia and local wine. Finally, we will return to Levanto.

We loved our day on the e-bikes and our tour guides Sara and Danieli. We’d never ridden e-bikes before so didn’t know what to expect, but we had an absolute ball! There is NO WAY we would have been able to ride to the height of 600m without the substantial help of the fantastic new e-bikes. The route was fabulous, loved riding uphill, downhill and through the tunnels. Fantastic day out.

I truly enjoyed the tour of the region, and a great finish with a great touch of local food and wine. Very knowledgeable of the area, friendly and lways safety in mind. This tour was amazing. We chose the Framura route and the views were STUNNING. Matteo was absolutely terrific…emphasizing safety first. As it was our 36th wedding anniversary, he also presided over the renewal of our vows (😍) at a beautiful seaside church along the route! AMAZING!!!!

A really nice way to explore the area around Levanto. Our group chose for this tour instead of the one to Vernazza, all preferring the unknown Framura without the crowds. Mattheo was a perfect guide, taking enough time for instructions and safety. The ride was fun, we learned a lot about the CT, there was time for a coffee and even some wine!

We spent 3 nights in Levanto and this e-bike tour was our family's favorite half-day! Matteo was such a fun guide. Our group opted for the Framura route instead of riding towards the touristy Cinque Terre. I think it was the perfect choice for gorgeous views, cool railway tunnels and less populated roads. Riding the bikes was not strenuous, so don't let that sway you.
We loved Levanto and we would easily do this trip again. Highly recommend.

Hadn,t ridden a bike for a while,so was a little aprehensive.Well Matt took care of that and selected bikes to suit my wife and I.
It was truly a highlight of our 3 mths travelling in Europe.The climb to 600mtr above sea level was a breeze and very panoramic.
Stopped at Framura,a lovely little town up there,then downhill all the way.Some tight hairpin corners but we loved it.Some wine and Foccacia at a beautiful lookout then back to base.
Oh can,t leave out the klms of old train tunnels we rode through.Very special and Matt was the perfect guide and host.
A must do!!
