Fantastic driver, Lucky is amazing. Even our teenagers loved his stories. Great balance of stops and shopping, it was relaxing and invigorating. We especially loved isle of Skye and the Loch Ness boat tour option was a must. We did the free Hairy Coo tour ten years ago and were impressed then, more so now. Loved it.

Wow, this was so much fun! I've always wanted to see the Scottish Highlands and this tour did not disappoint. The tour packs in a lot of stops on the 1st two days so be ready for a quick pace at stops, but the 3rd day slows down and you can savor those stops a bit more (whiskey tasting :)). Our guide John was GREAT, could not have been any nicer and had so much knowledge.

Wonderful trip to experience much of the majesty of scenic Scotland. We had a terrific driver who told us colorful fairy, witch, and other tales of the areas where we traveled, making the trip even more fun. She also explained much of the history of the towns, famous people, and battles. When leaving Isle of Skye, we were bid farewell with the most amazing rainbows we had ever seen - at least 10 - remarkably vivid, some double and we even drove through one. We enjoyed a boat cruise on Loch Ness, but definitely needed warm clothes! No monster, though. Lots of driving, but a great way to see the highlights of Scotland.

It was a wonderful trip through the Highlands.
Our guide Brian supplied us with lots of interesting storys about scottish figures and folklore during the drive. He always had a good song ready that fit the scenery and made everyone feel welcome.
The landscape is stunning and I felt that all the stops we did were long enough to get a good view, take pictures and sometimes explore.
Thank you!

Hairy Coo offers a fun and informative way to explore Scotland with engaging guides who bring history and local legends to life through storytelling. Their comfortable coaches with frequent bathroom breaks ensure a relaxing journey.
However, it's important to manage expectations. While the tours showcase Scotland's beauty and history through free locations, iconic experiences like Loch Ness cruises or Urquhart Castle come at an extra cost. However, if you choose not to add on the experiences, these stops might feel less eventful and a waste of time.
The itinerary is slower-paced, which is great for soaking in the scenery and appreciating the stories but might feel tedious for some. It's perfect for travelers who want a guided experience and prefer cultural immersion over rushing through famous locations. Remember to factor in separate accommodation bookings and potentially adjust your budget for add-on experiences.

For anyone visiting Scotland for the first time, this quick Highlands tour was an absolute blast! Everything was stunningly beautiful. Rod’s storytelling and his charming accent added so much fun and flair to the trip. The only downside was the spot we stopped at for lunch on the first day—definitely needs a change. Other than that, I can’t wait for my next tour! (Make tour reservatıon for last day distilery visit!!)

It was a great way to see a lot of Scotland. Very beautiful scenery. Brian Smith did a good job, was a great driver and had incredible energy, Inverness was a nice quiet small town to stay and very easy to get around. Felt very safe to walk around in the evening and had a good selection of restaurants.
