Truly unique experience of Chania's food and culture. Our guide Stelios did a great job showing us the side of Chania from a local perspective, and it turned out to be a private tour for us. We visited areas in the White Mountains where tourists would never know to venture, including a quiet family-run tavern with 3,000 year-old olive trees and a unforgettable home wine tasting. Thank you to Stelios and all of our local hosts for your incredible Cretan hospitality.

My sister and I did this tour and it was hands down the best part of our Crete trip. We saw the beautiful mountains, learned Cretan and Greek culture, laughed and ate until we could fit no more. I highly recommend doing this tour!

What an awesome day with our hosts Marie Claire and Stelios sampling fantastic food and drink! (That cheese and those tomatoes 🔥). Truly a glimpse into Chania countryside living. It was just my daughter and me and another lovely couple from Toronto. Get out of the “tourist zone” and enjoy the real Crete!

Amazing experience. If you want to see and taste the genuine Crete cuisine, and see the side of Crete that is not influenced by tourism, this is absolutely the tour you want! But i cannot leave a review without mentioning "Bonnie and Clyde" with their open arms and positive view of life and living life to it's fullest.
Lots of laughs and smiles makes this a tour to be remembered.

We had a wonderful day in the white Mountains! The kindness and hospitality of the people we met made us feel so welcome. Truly an unforgettable experience! This was our first time on Crete island & this tour exceeded our expectation on Cretan gastronomy. We had heard so much about the famous Cretan cuisine & this experience delivers like no other food tour we have ever done.

The hosts were vivacious and welcoming! They made the day in the White Mountains enjoyable and successfully introduced us to Cretan restauranteurs who made incredible and authentic meals from old family recipes. The wine was plentiful and locally produced. Each meal host showed their pride for their homes, wine, and food!

It was a joy to get up into the mountains and see small villages up above bustling Chania below!
