We had an amazing experience with Manami for our half day tour of Kobe. She has lived in the Kobe area for 29 years and she really knows the area well. She met us at the Shin-Kobe station right on time, and she gave us some choices what we wanted to see. We told Manami we wanted to experience Kobe from a local's perspective and, of course, Kobe beef. She took us to a small town of Arima known for its natural springs. We went to a spa where my family of 5 got to experience the feet treatment by small fish removing impurities from the skin. The family loved it! Then we walked through the town looking at all the specialty shops and stopped to get Arima soda, matcha ice cream, and Arima crackers. This was exactly what we were hoping for in a Kobe tour. Manami took us to a restaurant where we ate Kobe beef prepared hibachi style. Manami is very kind, friendly. She speaks English well. We really enjoyed our tour of Kobe.

Marwan picked personalized sites to see. I was thrilled to go up the gondola to see the lovely “Herb Garden” which is filled with flowers and plants with paths down the mountainside

We had a most enjoyable day walking and talking and exploring Kobe. Michelle was an excellent Guide and really took the trouble to understand what it was we wanted to see on our tour. By the end of the day, we felt we had a greater appreciation of Kobe and understanding of what it was like to live there.

Taiga was extremely helpful and tailored our tour to visit places of interest to us. Went to a great Ramen shop for lunch, had some yummy local ice cream and learned a lot about the history and present about the city of Kobe.

We were greeted by our tour Guide-Silva who was very friendly and warming.
He walked us around the main areas of Kobe and took us to a very nice garden.
He was very insightful and easy to talk to.
We had a great lunch togehter and we got a good feel of Kobe in the tour.
Overall a great experience and must do if visiting for a short trip.

Deep insight & understanding of a smaller but still vibrant town. Our guide, Silva was extremely knowledgable of the area & will take you behind the scenes of many interesting places with an explanation that is effectively understood & allows you an appreciation from a local perspective.

We spent a day with Ryan, who was an excellent low-key guy focused on helping us do and see whatever we wanted in Kyoto. Our group of four had varying interests and physical limits and Ryan accommodated everyone. His knowledge of the area and its history was very helpful and kept us engaged and wanting to know more.
