Oslovian's will think you're a local, as you wander through highlights to hidden gems with your in-the-know host, like darting past the crowded palace to a treasure trove of miniature glass bottles and skipping Gustav Vigeland's park. Stroll away from the famous Karl Johans street to tucked away tiny nook Torggata, cramped with cozy cafés and trendy stores. On the other side of a Viking-like fortress, discover a too-cool-for-school food truck court with a dash of sustainability, nestled on the edge of the Oslo fjord. Nearby nabolag Tøyen may be famous for the Munch Museum, but underneath its suburban facade lies a bursting street art scene.

Our handpicked hosts are culinary connoisseurs and history buffs, bakers and bankers, students and seniors. Like the people who travel with us, they have different backgrounds and interests – but they’re all so passionate about the place they call home, they choose to spend their free time sharing it with the like-minded travelers matched to them.

Sheenam was professional and friendly. Sheenam met us at our agreed meeting point ahead of schedule. Ahead of our trip, Sheenam contacted us to gather a list of sites we were interested in visiting so a list can be tailored and agreed to ahead of our trip. We had an enjoyable and memorable city walk tour of Oslo. We were grateful for all we were able to learn and see in the limited time we had in Oslo.

I would not recommend this tour as we booked a week in advance and they couldn't find us a guide for a 2 or 3 hour tour. We got a map at the train station and did ut own tour.

This tour was very disappointing. Our guide was late to meet us, then once we finally met, he didn't speak English very well and was difficult to understand. He was not a local, he had only lived in Oslo 2 years. Prior to our tour, I had filled out a form with specifics of what I wanted to see and do. Our guide had us going in circles. After 40 minutes, I decided to end it, because he was waisting our time.

I loved all of it. Lots of history and insider info. Neil came to my hotel and the whole tour was really laid back.

We opted for a 2 hour tour that we hoped would help us get a sense of Oslo the city and its history. We needed an English guide, and it was a very cold day! Our guide, Neil, was excellent at balancing our needs for information and even juggling the cold a bit - with a well timed trip to the lobby of the Opera house. Neil is well informed and brought us to major sites and areas in the city center area. It was the perfect start to our 3 day stay in the city
